في واحدة من أكثر المآسي الإنسانية حبساً للأنفاس في الشارع العربي، تسابق الحماية المدنية الجزائرية الزمن وتصارع خطورة التربة المنهارة، مع دخول عملية إنقاذ الطفل أيوب (10 سنوات) يومها الرابع داخل بئر ارتوازية بعمق 80 متراً.
الحادثة التي تحولت إلى قضية رأي عام عاصفة بدأت بلحظة شؤم، حين خرج الصغير لجلب قارورة ماء لأخيه، صاعداً فوق غطاء خشبي هش لرؤيته عن بُعد. وفي لحظة خاطفة، انكسر الخشب ليهوي جسد الطفل النحيل في قعر مظلم لا يتجاوز قطره 40 سنتيمتراً ولا يضم أي تغليف لحمايته من الانهيارات.
روى والد الطفل بأسى تفاصيل صدمته الأولى حين وصل لموقع البئر ونادى ابنه، ليأتيه الصوت الباكي من أعماق الأرض متوسلاً: «بابا خرجني». وبعد وصول فرق الإنقاذ، أُنزِل مصباح استكشافي لالتقاط مكان الصغير، قبل أن تنقطع أصواته وتتزايد المخاوف وسط تعقيدات الحفر الميدانية.
ومع وصول التحركات الميدانية لمرحلة بالغة الحساسية، تعتمد الفرق المتخصصة سيناريو أسطورياً يعيد للأذهان مأساة الطفل المغربي «ريان»، حيث يتم حفر بئر موازية بعمق هائل، تمهيداً لفتح ممر أفقي حذر وتدعيمه أمنياً لمنع أي انهيار مفاجئ للتربة قد يعرض حياة أيوب والمنقذين للخطر.
ومع مرابطة سيارات الإسعاف المجهزة والطواقم الطبية في موقع الحادثة بولاية البيض، يترقب الملايين صدور أي بيان رسمي يزف بشرى خروج الصغير حياً من قلب ظلمات البئر.
In one of the most breath-taking human tragedies in the Arab street, the Algerian civil protection is racing against time and battling the dangers of the collapsing soil, as the rescue operation for the child Ayoub (10 years old) enters its fourth day inside an 80-meter deep artesian well.
The incident, which has turned into a stormy public opinion issue, began with a moment of doom when the little boy went out to fetch a bottle of water for his brother, climbing onto a fragile wooden cover to see from a distance. In a fleeting moment, the wood broke, sending the child's slender body tumbling into a dark pit with a diameter of no more than 40 centimeters, lacking any protective lining against collapses.
The child's father recounted with sorrow the details of his initial shock when he arrived at the well site and called for his son, only to hear the weeping voice from the depths of the earth pleading: "Daddy, get me out." After the rescue teams arrived, a searchlight was lowered to locate the boy, before his sounds faded and fears grew amidst the complexities of the field excavation.
As the field operations reached a critically sensitive stage, specialized teams are employing a legendary scenario reminiscent of the tragedy of the Moroccan child "Ryan," where a parallel well is being dug to a tremendous depth, in preparation for opening a cautious horizontal passage and securing it to prevent any sudden soil collapse that could endanger Ayoub's life and that of the rescuers.
With ambulances and medical teams stationed at the incident site in the Béchar province, millions are awaiting any official statement that announces the joyous news of the boy's safe emergence from the depths of the well.
