دوت صفارات الإنذار في الكويت، فجر اليوم (الخميس)، بالتزامن مع إعلان الجيش الكويتي تصدي الدفاعات الجوية لهجمات صاروخية وطائرات مسيرة معادية.
وقالت رئاسة الأركان العامة للجيش الكويتي، في بيان، إن منظومات الدفاع الجوي «تتصدى حاليًا لهجمات صاروخية وطائرات مسيرة معادية، إثر العدوان الإيراني».
وأوضحت أن أصوات الانفجارات، في حال سماعها، تعود إلى عمليات اعتراض منظومات الدفاع الجوي للهجمات، داعية المواطنين والمقيمين إلى الالتزام بتعليمات الأمن والسلامة الصادرة عن الجهات المختصة.
ويأتي ذلك بالتزامن مع حالة تأهب أمني في البلاد، فيما تواصل الجهات المختصة متابعة التطورات والتعامل مع أي تهديدات وفق الإجراءات المعتمدة.
Sirens sounded in Kuwait early today (Thursday), coinciding with the announcement by the Kuwaiti army of its air defenses intercepting missile attacks and hostile drones.
The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army stated in a statement that the air defense systems "are currently intercepting missile attacks and hostile drones, following the Iranian aggression."
It clarified that the sounds of explosions, if heard, are due to the interception operations of the air defense systems against the attacks, urging citizens and residents to adhere to the security and safety instructions issued by the relevant authorities.
This comes amid a state of security alert in the country, while the relevant authorities continue to monitor developments and deal with any threats according to established procedures.
