يواصل الانفلات الأمني في مناطق سيطرة الحوثي، خصوصاً في محافظة إب، حصد أرواح المدنيين، وآخر هذه الجرائم مقتل بائع آيسكريم ومواطن برصاص مسلحين.
وأفاد شهود عيان بأن بائع الآيسكريم علي عبدالله جبران كان يقف أمام أحد المستشفيات بمنطقة القاعدة بمحافظة إب كعادته يومياً، حيث يكافح من أجل أسرته في ظل سياسة التجويع، لكنه تفاجأ برصاصة طائشة لترديه قتيلاً.

وأفاد الشهود بأن مشادات كلامية نشبت بين شخصين في الشارع العام بجوار أحد المستشفيات بمدينة القاعدة، تطورت إلى اشتباك مسلح بالرصاص، لكن إحدى الرصاصات الطائشة أصابت بائع الآيسكريم، فيما قتلت أخرى مواطناً كان يمر بجواره، والاثنان لا علاقة لهما بالخلاف الذي تسبب بالاشتباك.
وتداول ناشطون يمنيون صورة الشاب وهو ملقى في الشارع ويستغيث قبل أن يسقط مغشياً عليه جراء النزيف.
وذكر الشهود أن جثة الشاب لا تزال في المستشفى، فيما نقلت الضحية الأخرى للعناية المركزة في ظل وضع صحي ما بين حرج ومتوسط.
وتزايدت جرائم القتل في محافظة إب جراء الانفلات الأمني في إطار سياسة حوثية ممنهجة لتهديد حياة المدنيين في تلك المحافظة المعروفة بالمدينة الخضراء والتي غالبية سكانها مغتربون في دول غربية، فضلاً عن تميزها بالزراعة.

Eyewitnesses reported that the ice cream vendor, Ali Abdullah Jubran, was standing in front of a hospital in the Al-Qaidah area of Ibb Governorate, as he did every day, struggling to provide for his family amid a policy of starvation. However, he was taken by surprise by a stray bullet that killed him.

Witnesses stated that a verbal altercation broke out between two individuals on the main street next to one of the hospitals in the city of Al-Qaidah, which escalated into an armed confrontation with gunfire. However, one of the stray bullets hit the ice cream vendor, while another killed a citizen who was passing by, and neither of them had any connection to the dispute that caused the clash.
Yemeni activists circulated a photo of the young man lying in the street, calling for help before he fell unconscious due to bleeding.
Witnesses mentioned that the young man's body is still in the hospital, while the other victim was transferred to intensive care in a condition ranging from critical to moderate.
Murders in Ibb Governorate have increased due to the security breakdown as part of a systematic Houthi policy to threaten the lives of civilians in that governorate, known as the green city, where the majority of its residents are expatriates in Western countries, in addition to its agricultural prominence.
