أتاحت الجوازات استخراج تصاريح السفر لأفراد الأسرة من هم أقل من 21 عاماً عبر منصة «أبشر»، على أن يتولى ولي الأمر تسجيل الدخول في المنصة لاستكمال الإجراء.
وطبقاً لمنشور للجوازات في منصة (X)، تتعلق الخدمة بمن هم دون الـ 21 عاماً فقط، بشرط أن يكون لدى فرد الأسرة هوية وطنية أو جواز سفر.
ويشمل تصريح السفر المُصدر على الهوية الوطنية دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي، ولا يتطلب طباعة التصريح ويمكن الاستفسار والمتابعة عبر المنصة دون حاجة لمراجعة إدارات الجوازات.
وفي سياق ذي صلة، دعت المديرية العامة للجوازات في وقت سابق المواطنين الراغبين في السفر إلى خارج السعودية إلى المحافظة على جوازات سفرهم داخل المملكة وخارجها من التلف أو الفقدان وعدم إهمالها أو رهنها أو إساءة استعمالها، وحفظها في أماكن آمنة.
وحثّت على التأكد من صلاحية جوازات السفر الخاصة بالمواطنين ومرافقيهم قبل مغادرة المملكة، إذ يشترط ألاّ تقل مدة الصلاحية عن 3 أشهر للسفر إلى الدول العربية و6 أشهر للسفر إلى بقية الدول، مع إلزامية حمل جواز السفر أو الهوية الوطنية عند السفر إلى دول مجلس التعاون.
The passports department has allowed the issuance of travel permits for family members under the age of 21 through the "Absher" platform, provided that the guardian logs into the platform to complete the procedure.
According to a post by the passports department on the (X) platform, the service is only applicable to those under 21, provided that the family member has a national ID or passport.
The issued travel permit based on the national ID includes the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, does not require printing the permit, and inquiries and follow-ups can be made through the platform without the need to visit the passports departments.
In a related context, the General Directorate of Passports previously urged citizens wishing to travel outside Saudi Arabia to protect their passports both inside and outside the kingdom from damage or loss, and to avoid neglecting, pawning, or misusing them, and to store them in safe places.
It also emphasized the importance of checking the validity of citizens' passports and those of their companions before leaving the kingdom, as the validity must not be less than 3 months for travel to Arab countries and 6 months for travel to other countries, with a requirement to carry the passport or national ID when traveling to Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
