ضبط فرع وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة بمنطقة عسير، ممثلاً بمكتب محافظة بيشة، مركبة كانت تنقل شحنة من الدواجن النافقة، وذلك بالتعاون مع شرطة المنطقة، بعد ملاحظة انبعاث روائح كريهة من المركبة أثناء استيقافها.
وباشر مفتشو قسم الرقابة والامتثال بالفرع الموقع، وتبيّن أن الشحنة عبارة عن دواجن نافقة كان ناقلها يعتزم التخلص منها بطرق غير نظامية ومخالفة للاشتراطات البيئية والصحية، بما يشكل خطراً على البيئة والصحة العامة، فيما تم تسليم الشحنة إلى المركز الوطني للوقاية من الآفات النباتية والأمراض الحيوانية ومكافحتها (وقاء)، بمشاركة بلدية محافظة صمخ، للتخلص منها وفق الإجراءات النظامية المعتمدة، مع استكمال الإجراءات النظامية بحق المخالف.
The branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture in the Asir region, represented by the Bisha Governorate office, seized a vehicle transporting a shipment of dead poultry, in collaboration with the regional police, after noticing foul odors emanating from the vehicle while it was stopped.
Inspectors from the Compliance and Monitoring Department of the branch arrived at the site and found that the shipment consisted of dead poultry that the transporter intended to dispose of in non-compliant ways, violating environmental and health regulations, posing a risk to the environment and public health. The shipment was handed over to the National Center for Plant and Animal Pest Prevention and Control (Wiqaya), with the participation of the Samakh Governorate Municipality, for disposal according to the approved regulatory procedures, while legal actions were completed against the violator.
