دعا الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي اليوم (الأربعاء) الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب إلى تسريع وتيرة الإمدادات بالصواريخ الاعتراضية لبلاده، مؤكداً أن روسيا أطلقت صاروخين باليستيين متوسطي المدى من طراز «أوريشنيك» خلال أحدث هجوم على أوكرانيا.
وقال زيلينسكي في رسالة وجهها إلى نظيره الأمريكي ترمب إن وتيرة تسليم الصواريخ لم تعد كافية لمواكبة الاحتياجات العسكرية الأوكرانية في ظل تصاعد الهجمات الروسية، موضحاً أن بلاده تعتمد بشكل شبه كامل على الولايات المتحدة في اعتراض الصواريخ الباليستية الروسية، وذلك في تأكيد على اعتماد كييف على الدعم من واشنطن.
وكان زيلينسكي أعلن (الأحد) استخدام روسيا صاروخاً باليستياً فرط صوتي من طراز «أوريشنيك» خلال هجوم واسع استهدف العاصمة كييف، مؤكداً أنها المرة الثالثة التي يُستخدم فيها هذا الصاروخ، القادر على حمل رؤوس نووية أو تقليدية، في أوكرانيا.
ولفت إلى أن روسيا قصفت مدينة بيلا تسيركفا بمنطقة كييف بهذا الصاروخ.
ونشر الجيش الروسي صاروخ «أوريشنيك»، وهو أحدث صواريخه فرط الصوتية القادر على حمل رأس نووي، العام الماضي في بيلاروسيا، الدولة الحليفة لموسكو والمحاذية لثلاث دول أعضاء في الحلف الأطلسي والاتحاد الأوروبي، هي بولندا وليتوانيا ولاتفيا، فضلاً عن أوكرانيا.
وكانت موسكو استخدمت هذا الصاروخ مرتين منذ اندلاع الحرب في أوكرانيا في فبراير 2022، أولها نوفمبر 2024 واستهدفت به مصنعاً عسكرياً، وفي يناير 2026 استخدمته في قصف مركز للصناعات الجوية في غرب أوكرانيا قرب حدود الحلف الأطلسي، لكنه لم يحمل في الحالتين أي رؤوس نووية.
وأكد الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين أن الصاروخ أوريشنيك ينطلق بسرعة تفوق سرعة الصوت بـ10 أضعاف، أي بسرعة 10 ماخ، وهو قادر على تدمير المخابئ تحت الأرض على عمق 3 أو 4 طوابق أو أكثر.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called on U.S. President Donald Trump today (Wednesday) to accelerate the supply of interceptor missiles to his country, confirming that Russia launched two medium-range ballistic missiles of the "Orishnik" type during its latest attack on Ukraine.
Zelensky stated in a message addressed to his American counterpart Trump that the pace of missile deliveries is no longer sufficient to meet Ukraine's military needs amid escalating Russian attacks, explaining that his country relies almost entirely on the United States to intercept Russian ballistic missiles, emphasizing Kyiv's dependence on support from Washington.
Zelensky had announced (on Sunday) that Russia used a hypersonic ballistic missile of the "Orishnik" type during a wide-ranging attack targeting the capital, Kyiv, confirming that this is the third time this missile, capable of carrying nuclear or conventional warheads, has been used in Ukraine.
He pointed out that Russia bombarded the city of Bila Tserkva in the Kyiv region with this missile.
The Russian army deployed the "Orishnik" missile, which is its latest hypersonic missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead, last year in Belarus, a Moscow ally bordering three NATO and European Union member states: Poland, Lithuania, and Latvia, as well as Ukraine.
Moscow has used this missile twice since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine in February 2022, the first time in November 2024 targeting a military factory, and in January 2026 it was used to bomb an aerospace industry center in western Ukraine near NATO borders, but it did not carry any nuclear warheads in either case.
Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed that the Orishnik missile travels at a speed exceeding ten times the speed of sound, or at a speed of 10 Mach, and is capable of destroying underground shelters at a depth of 3 or 4 floors or more.
