أعرب وزير الخارجية السعودي الأمير فيصل بن فرحان، عن تقديره العالي لتجاوب الرئيس الأمريكي دنالد ترمب ومنح المفاوضات فرصة للتوصل لاتفاق ينهي الحرب.
وقال الأمير فيصل بن فرحان في تصريحات له: نقدر تجاوب الرئيس ترمب بمنح المفاوضات فرصة للتوصل لاتفاق يعيد أمن وحرية الملاحة بـ«هرمز»، معرباً عن تطلعه لاغتنام إيران الفرصة لتجنب التصعيد والتجاوب مع جهود المفاوضات وصولاً لاتفاق شامل.
وأعرب الأمير عن تقديره العالي لجهود الوساطة المستمرة لباكستان.
في غضون ذلك، قال الرئيس الأمريكي في تصريحات صحفية: هناك الكثير من الغضب في إيران بسبب مستوى المعيشة الذي وصفه بـ«السيئ»، مضيفاً: تم محو إيران وقواتنا قامت بعمل رائع ومذهل هناك وبأقل الخسائر.
وشدد ترمب على ضرورة فتح إعادة فتح مضيق هرمز، مؤكداً انه ليس مستعجلاً.
وأشار إلى أن نتنياهو سيفعل ما يريده منه بشأن إيران، موضحاً بأنهم متفقون.
وفيما يتعلق بعلاقته مع الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين والرئيس الصيني شي جين بينغ، قال ترمب: علاقتي جيدة مع بوتين وشي.
في المقابل، قال رئيس البرلمان الإيراني محمد باقر قاليباف: التحركات العلنية والخفية (الأمريكية) تظهر أنهم يسعون إلى جولة جديدة من الحرب، مضيفاً: يعتقدون خطأ أنهم يستطيعون عبر الحصار واستئناف الحرب دفعنا إلى الاستجابة للمطالب الأمريكية المفرطة.

The prince expressed his high appreciation for Pakistan's ongoing mediation efforts.
Meanwhile, the U.S. President stated in press remarks: There is a lot of anger in Iran due to the living standards, which he described as "bad," adding: Iran has been wiped out, and our forces have done a great and amazing job there with minimal losses.
Trump emphasized the necessity of reopening the Strait of Hormuz, confirming that he is not in a hurry.
He indicated that Netanyahu will do what he wants regarding Iran, clarifying that they are in agreement.
Regarding his relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping, Trump said: My relationship with Putin and Xi is good.
In contrast, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf stated: The overt and covert (American) movements show that they are seeking a new round of war, adding: They mistakenly believe that through the blockade and resuming the war, they can push us to respond to the excessive American demands.
