أعلن نائب الرئيس الأمريكي جي دي فانس اليوم (الأربعاء)، عن تقدم في المفاوضات مع إيران، موضحاً أن واشنطن تبذل جهوداً دبلوماسية نشطة لمنع إيران من امتلاك السلاح النووي.
وقال نائب الرئيس الأمريكي: «واشنطن ملتزمة بمنع إيران من امتلاك سلاح نووي»، موضحاً أن هذا الهدف يشكل أكبر تحد للأمن القومي الأمريكي على المدى الطويل.
خيارات ترمب
وأضاف: الرئيس دونالد ترمب يريد أن يجعل العالم آمناً من النووي الإيراني، موضحاً أن أمام ترمب عدة خيارات دبلوماسية وعسكرية.
وفي رده على سؤال بشأن ما إذا كان يتفق مع الرئيس دونالد ترمب بأن الأوضاع المالية للأمريكيين لا ينبغي أن تكون عاملاً في اتخاذ القرارات المتعلقة بالحرب مع إيران، قال إن هذا الوصف ليس دقيقاً لتصريحات الرئيس، مضيفاً أن «الإدارة تهتم بالأوضاع الاقتصادية للأمريكيين، لكنها في الوقت نفسه تواجه تحديات أخرى تتطلب قرارات إستراتيجية».
في غضون ذلك، أعلنت القيادة المركزية الأمريكية، اليوم، استمرار تنفيذ الحصار البحري المفروض على السفن المتجهة إلى الموانئ الإيرانية أو المغادرة منها بشكل كامل، مؤكدة أن قواتها قامت خلال الأسابيع الأربعة الماضية بتحويل مسار عشرات السفن التجارية لضمان الالتزام بالإجراءات الأمريكية.
وأوضحت القيادة المركزية الأمريكية في بيان، أن قواتها أعادت توجيه 67 سفينة تجارية، فيما سمحت بمرور 15 سفينة كانت تحمل مساعدات إنسانية، إضافة إلى تعطيل 4 سفن قالت إنها لم تلتزم بتعليمات الحصار.
التحركات العسكرية في هرمز
وأشارت إلى أن قواتها أجبرت، سفينتين تجاريتين على تغيير مسارهما بعد التواصل معهما عبر أجهزة اللاسلكي وإطلاق طلقات تحذيرية من أسلحة خفيفة، مبينة أن إجراءات الإنفاذ الأمريكية لا تزال سارية بالكامل.
وذكرت أن مقاتلة شبحية من طراز إف-35 أيه تابعة للقوات الجوية الأمريكية تحلق في دورية فوق المياه الإقليمية بالقرب من مضيق هرمز، لافتة إلى أن المقاتلة تحمل ما يصل إلى 18,000 رطل من الذخائر، مع الحفاظ على قدرتها على التحليق بسرعات تفوق سرعة الصوت.
مناورات الحرس الثوري
في المقابل، قال قائد الحرس الثوري في منطقة طهران الكبرى حسن زاده إن الحرس نفذ مناورات اليوم، بمشاركة قوات التدخل السريع والقوات الخاصة ووحدات الكوماندوز التابعة له، والباسيج، مشيراً إلى أن المناورة الخاصة بقوات الباسيج استمرت خمسة أيام وليالٍ، وتم خلالها تحقيق جميع الأهداف المحددة.
ونقلت وكالة «مهر» الإيرانية عن حسن زاده قوله إن «القوات القتالية في جاهزية كاملة»، مبيناً أن جميع السيناريوهات جرى التدريب عليها مسبقاً.

Vice President Vance said, "Washington is committed to preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon," explaining that this goal represents the greatest challenge to U.S. national security in the long term.
Trump's Options
He added that President Donald Trump wants to make the world safe from Iranian nuclear threats, noting that Trump has several diplomatic and military options available.
In response to a question about whether he agrees with President Trump that the financial situation of Americans should not be a factor in decisions related to war with Iran, he said that this characterization is not accurate regarding the President's statements, adding that "the administration cares about the economic conditions of Americans, but at the same time faces other challenges that require strategic decisions."
Meanwhile, the U.S. Central Command announced today the continued enforcement of the maritime blockade imposed on ships heading to or leaving Iranian ports, confirming that its forces have redirected dozens of commercial vessels over the past four weeks to ensure compliance with U.S. procedures.
The U.S. Central Command clarified in a statement that its forces redirected 67 commercial ships while allowing the passage of 15 vessels carrying humanitarian aid, in addition to disabling 4 ships that it said did not comply with the blockade instructions.
Military Movements in Hormuz
It noted that its forces forced two commercial vessels to change their course after communicating with them via radio and firing warning shots from light weapons, indicating that U.S. enforcement actions remain fully in effect.
It mentioned that a stealth F-35A fighter jet from the U.S. Air Force is patrolling over the territorial waters near the Strait of Hormuz, pointing out that the fighter can carry up to 18,000 pounds of munitions while maintaining its capability to fly at supersonic speeds.
Revolutionary Guard Exercises
In contrast, the commander of the Revolutionary Guard in the Greater Tehran area, Hassan Zadeh, stated that the Guard conducted exercises today, involving rapid response forces, special forces, and its commando units, as well as the Basij, noting that the exercise for the Basij forces lasted five days and nights, during which all specified objectives were achieved.
Iran's Mehr news agency quoted Hassan Zadeh as saying that "the combat forces are fully prepared," indicating that all scenarios had been trained on in advance.
