أعلنت قوات العمالقة الجنوبية في اليمن اليوم (الثلاثاء) نجاح الحملة الأمنية في ضبط سفينة تهريب قادمة من إيران تحمل أدوية غير مصرح دخولها وأسلاكاً معدنية قبالة سواحل مديرية المضاربة ورأس العارة القريبة من مضيق باب المندب بمحافظة لحج.
وقال مصدر عسكري إن دورية بحرية تمكنت من ضبط سفينة التهريب تحمل أدوية غير مصرح دخولها وأسلاكاً معدنية مزدوجة الاستخدام، بعد عملية رصد وتتبع دقيقة في المياه الإقليمية قبالة سواحل مديرية المضاربة ورأس العارة القريبة من مضيق باب المندب، موضحاً أنه تم إلقاء القبض على طاقم السفينة المكون من 10 بحارة يحملون الجنسية الباكستانية.
وأشار المصدر إلى أن السفينة التي تم ضبطها أمس (الإثنين) انطلقت من ميناء بندر عباس في إيران بتاريخ 12 مارس 2026، وكانت في طريقها إلى ميناء الصليف بمحافظة الحديدة، الخاضع لسيطرة الحوثي، مبيناً أنه تم تحريز المضبوطات ونقل طاقم السفينة إلى الحجز لاستكمال التحقيقات، تمهيداً لإحالتهم إلى الجهات المختصة لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة.
وأشاد عضو مجلس القيادة الرئاسي اليمني عبدالرحمن المحرمي أبو زرعة بهذا الإنجاز الأمني الذي حققته الحملة الأمنية لقوات العمالقة الجنوبية التي تمكنت من ضبط سفينة التهريب الإيرانية التي كانت متجهة للحوثي في محافظة الحديدة، مشدداً على أهمية مضاعفة الجهود لحماية السواحل والممرات المائية من أعمال التهريب ومكافحتها، ومنع وصول أي ممنوعات إلى الحوثي.

A military source stated that a naval patrol managed to seize the smuggling ship carrying unauthorized medicines and dual-use metal wires after a precise monitoring and tracking operation in the territorial waters off the coasts of the Al-Mudharabah district and Ras Al-Ara near the Bab al-Mandab Strait, explaining that the crew of the ship, consisting of 10 sailors of Pakistani nationality, was arrested.
The source indicated that the ship, which was seized yesterday (Monday), had departed from the port of Bandar Abbas in Iran on March 12, 2026, and was on its way to the port of Salif in Al-Hudaydah Governorate, which is under Houthi control. He pointed out that the seized items were secured, and the ship's crew was transferred to detention to complete the investigations, in preparation for referring them to the relevant authorities to take the necessary legal actions.
Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council member Abdulrahman Al-Mahrami Abu Zar'ah praised this security achievement accomplished by the Southern Giants Forces, which managed to seize the Iranian smuggling ship that was heading to the Houthis in Al-Hudaydah Governorate, emphasizing the importance of doubling efforts to protect the coasts and waterways from smuggling activities and combating them, and preventing any contraband from reaching the Houthis.
