جدّد رئيس مجلس السيادة الانتقالي السوداني قائد الجيش الفريق أول ركن عبدالفتاح البرهان رفضه أي تفاوض أو سلام مع «المرتزقة والتمرد»، بعد أن صعّد قائد قوات الدعم السريع محمد حمدان دقلو لهجته ملوّحاً باستمرار الحرب حتى عام 2040، في مؤشر جديد على اتساع فجوة الحل السياسي وتعقّد المشهد العسكري في السودان.
وجاءت تصريحات البرهان، اليوم (الجمعة)، بعد أقل من 24 ساعة على خطاب حميدتي أمام قادة ميدانيين في قاعدة عسكرية بولاية جنوب دارفور، ما عكس تصعيداً متبادلاً بين طرفي الحرب، ورسائل متناقضة بشأن مستقبل الصراع الذي دخل مرحلة أكثر ضراوة واستنزافاً.
البرهان: لا تفاوض مع المرتزقة
وأدى البرهان صلاة الجمعة في مسجد حي الروضة بمنطقة الدروشاب بمحلية بحري، قبل أن يوجّه رسائل حادة لقوات الدعم السريع، مؤكداً المضي في ما وصفها بـ«معركة الكرامة» حتى القضاء على التمرد.
وقال: «كل السودانيين منخرطون بفاعلية في معركة الكرامة ضد أوباش التمرد»، مشيداً بما وصفه بالالتفاف الشعبي حول القوات المسلحة، ومؤكداً أن الجيش يمثل «صمام أمان السودان».
وأضاف أن «المأجورين والخونة» حاولوا اختطاف الدولة السودانية، لكن «أحلامهم تكسرت أمام إرادة الشعب»، مشدداً على أن «أحداً لن يفرض حلولاً لا ترضي السودانيين».
كما جدّد البرهان رفضه لأي تسوية مع قوات الدعم السريع، قائلاً: «لا تفاوض ولا سلام معهم»، مع فتح الباب أمام من يسلّم سلاحه، مضيفاً أن الكلمة الأخيرة «للشعب السوداني في محاسبتهم أو العفو عنهم».
حميدتي: مستعدون للحرب 40 عاماً
في المقابل، ظهر حميدتي، أمس (الخميس)، في خطاب ميداني بعد غياب طويل، متحدثاً إلى عشرات القادة والضباط من قواته، في رسالة حملت طابع التعبئة العسكرية والاستعداد لحرب طويلة.
وقال قائد الدعم السريع إن قواته «مستعدة لمواصلة القتال حتى عام 2040 إذا استدعت الظروف ذلك»، مضيفاً أن تقديرات الجيش السوداني نفسه تتحدث عن إمكانية استمرار الحرب حتى عام 2033، وأنه لا مانع لديهم في قوات الدعم السريع من استمرار الحرب لـ40 عاماً أخرى.
واعتبر حميدتي أن قيادة الجيش تنظر إلى التفاوض باعتباره «علامة ضعف»، نافياً أن تكون قواته تسعى للسلام من موقع تراجع، ومؤكداً أن استمرار الحرب لا يحقق مكاسب لأي طرف.
تضخم عسكري ورسائل تعبئة
يرى مراقبون أن حديث الطرفين يكشف تراجع فرص التسوية السياسية في المدى القريب، خصوصاً مع تمسك الجيش بخيار الحسم العسكري، مقابل استعداد الدعم السريع لحرب استنزاف طويلة، ما ينذر بمزيد من التعقيد الإنساني والأمني في السودان.
The head of Sudan's Transitional Sovereignty Council and army chief, General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, renewed his rejection of any negotiations or peace with "mercenaries and rebellion," after Rapid Support Forces leader Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo escalated his rhetoric, threatening to continue the war until 2040. This marks a new indication of the widening gap in political solutions and the complexity of the military scene in Sudan.
Burhan's statements came today (Friday), less than 24 hours after Hamidti's speech to field commanders at a military base in South Darfur, reflecting a mutual escalation between the warring parties and contradictory messages regarding the future of the conflict, which has entered a more ferocious and exhausting phase.
Burhan: No Negotiations with Mercenaries
Burhan performed the Friday prayer at the Al-Rawdah Mosque in the Al-Daroshab area of Bahri locality before directing sharp messages to the Rapid Support Forces, affirming the continuation of what he described as the "Battle of Dignity" until the rebellion is eradicated.
He stated, "All Sudanese are actively engaged in the Battle of Dignity against the thugs of rebellion," praising what he termed the popular rallying around the armed forces and asserting that the army represents "the safety valve for Sudan."
He added that "the mercenaries and traitors" attempted to hijack the Sudanese state, but "their dreams were shattered against the will of the people," emphasizing that "no one will impose solutions that do not satisfy the Sudanese."
Burhan also reiterated his rejection of any settlement with the Rapid Support Forces, stating: "No negotiations and no peace with them," while leaving the door open for those who surrender their weapons, adding that the final word is "for the Sudanese people to hold them accountable or to pardon them."
Hamidti: Ready for 40 Years of War
In contrast, Hamidti appeared yesterday (Thursday) in a field speech after a long absence, addressing dozens of leaders and officers from his forces, in a message that carried a tone of military mobilization and readiness for a long war.
The Rapid Support Forces leader stated that his troops are "ready to continue fighting until 2040 if circumstances require it," adding that estimates from the Sudanese army itself indicate the possibility of the war continuing until 2033, and that there is no objection from the Rapid Support Forces to continue the war for another 40 years.
Hamidti considered that the army leadership views negotiations as a "sign of weakness," denying that his forces are seeking peace from a position of retreat, and asserting that the continuation of the war does not yield gains for either side.
Military Inflation and Mobilization Messages
Observers believe that the statements from both sides reveal a decline in the prospects for a political settlement in the near term, especially with the army's insistence on a military resolution, contrasted with the Rapid Support Forces' readiness for a prolonged war of attrition, which portends further humanitarian and security complications in Sudan.
