فيما أبدت باكستان، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، استعدادها لاستضافة محادثات بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران لإنهاء الحرب، كشفت وسائل إعلام أمريكية عن إصدار "البنتاغون" أوامر لوحدة القيادات الخاصة بفرقة المشاة 82 المحمولة جواً بالانتشار في الشرق الأوسط.
وذكرت شبكة «فوكس نيوز» أن "البنتاغون" أمر وحدة القيادة الخاصة بفرقة المشاة 82 المحمولة جواً بالانتشار في الشرق الأوسط، في حين تدرس إدارة الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب إمكانية نشر الفرقة بالكامل.

وكانت صحيفة «نيويورك تايمز» قد ذكرت في وقت سابق أن "البنتاغون" يدرس إرسال الفرقة 82 المحمولة جواً إلى الشرق الأوسط.
وتزامن التحرك العسكري للقوات الأمريكية، مع تأكيدات الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب عن وجود محادثات «مثمرة» مع طهران، وأن المقترحات المطروحة تهدف إلى إبرام «اتفاق ملموس» لإنهاء الصراع وليس وقف إطلاق النار فقط.
ورحب رئيس الوزراء الباكستاني شهباز شريف بعقد مفاوضات مباشرة بين أمريكا وإيران في بلاده وذلك في منشور على منصة «إكس»، أعاد الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب نشره على حسابه في «تروث سوشيال».
وأكد شهباز أن باكستان «ترحب وتدعم بشكل كامل الجهود الجارية للحوار من أجل إنهاء الحرب في الشرق الأوسط، بما يخدم السلام والاستقرار في المنطقة وخارجها»، مضيفاً: «في حال موافقة الولايات المتحدة وإيران، فإن باكستان مستعدة ويشرفها أن تستضيف محادثات جادة وحاسمة من أجل تسوية شاملة للصراع».
من جهته، قال مصدر في الحكومة الباكستانية إن المناقشات بشأن عقد اجتماع وصلت إلى مرحلة متقدمة، وإذا عُقد الاجتماع، وهو احتمال كبير، فسيتم خلال أسبوع.

The military move of American forces coincides with President Donald Trump's assurances of "productive" talks with Tehran, and that the proposals on the table aim to reach a "concrete agreement" to end the conflict, not just a ceasefire.
Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif welcomed the prospect of direct negotiations between the U.S. and Iran in his country in a post on the "X" platform, which President Donald Trump shared on his "Truth Social" account.
Shahbaz confirmed that Pakistan "fully welcomes and supports ongoing efforts for dialogue to end the war in the Middle East, serving peace and stability in the region and beyond," adding: "If the United States and Iran agree, Pakistan is ready and honored to host serious and decisive talks for a comprehensive settlement of the conflict."
For his part, a source in the Pakistani government stated that discussions about holding a meeting have reached an advanced stage, and if the meeting takes place, which is a strong possibility, it will occur within a week.
