أكد الرئيس المصري عبدالفتاح السيسي، أهمية رفع درجة الجاهزية بمواقع العمل المُرتبطة بحركة الملاحة في قناة السويس كافة، فضلاً عن مُتابعة إجراءات السلامة واتخاذ التدابير اللازمة لرفع درجة الاستعداد بمنشآت ومواقع الهيئة الخدمية.
وخلال اجتماع اليوم (الأحد)، مع رئيس مجلس الوزراء الدكتور مصطفى مدبولي، ورئيس هيئة قناة السويس الفريق أسامة ربيع، بحث السيسي مع المسؤولين مدى تأثير الحرب الجارية بمنطقة الشرق الأوسط على قناة السويس، وأشار الفريق أسامة ربيع في هذا الصدد إلى تداعيات الحرب على حركة الملاحة وسلاسل الإمداد، مستعرضاً الإجراءات العاجلة التي اتخذتها القناة لمواجهة هذه الظروف، بما في ذلك رفع درجة الاستعداد بمواقع ومرافق الهيئة كافة، ومؤكداً استمرار القناة في تقديم خدماتها الملاحية على مدار الساعة.
وأشار متحدث الرئاسة المصرية السفير محمد الشناوي، إلى أنه تم خلال الاجتماع كذلك استعراض تطورات مشروع تطوير ترسانة البحر الأحمر، ومشروع مصنع اليخوت السياحية، ومشروع بناء سفن الصيد «رزق»، وموقف تشغيل أسطول سفن الصيد أعالي البحار، فضلاً عن الجهود الوطنية لبناء وبيع القاطرات البحرية، وكذا تطورات مشروع تصنيع الأتوبيس النهري.
ووجه السيسي بضرورة الانتهاء من تنفيذ كل المشاريع ذات الصلة في الأطر الزمنية المحددة لها، والالتزام بأعلى المعايير العالمية في التنفيذ، لضمان جودة المنتجات والخدمات المقدمة.
وذكر الشناوي أن السيسي اطلع كذلك على موقف إدخال الرقمنة والتكنولوجيا في عمل هيئة قناة السويس، بما في ذلك التوسع في استخدام التطبيقات الإلكترونية، وشدد في هذا الصدد على ضمان تحقيق تطبيق الرقمنة لأهدافها، وخصوصاً ترشيد الإنفاق وضمان الحوكمة والفعالية في الأداء، كما أكد على ضرورة التعاون مع كبرى الشركات العالمية ذات الصلة، ومواصلة السعي لتوطين الصناعة، وتعزيز نشاط التسويق الخارجي للمنتجات لفتح أسواق خارجية للتصدير.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi emphasized the importance of raising the level of readiness at all work sites associated with navigation in the Suez Canal, in addition to monitoring safety procedures and taking necessary measures to enhance preparedness at the facilities and sites of the service authority.
During a meeting today (Sunday) with Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and the Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, Lieutenant General Osama Rabie, El-Sisi discussed with officials the impact of the ongoing war in the Middle East on the Suez Canal. In this regard, Lieutenant General Osama Rabie pointed out the repercussions of the war on navigation and supply chains, reviewing the urgent measures taken by the canal to address these circumstances, including raising the level of preparedness at all authority sites and facilities, and confirming that the canal continues to provide its navigation services around the clock.
Egyptian presidential spokesperson Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy noted that the meeting also reviewed developments in the Red Sea dock development project, the tourist yacht manufacturing project, the "Rizq" fishing vessel construction project, the operational status of the deep-sea fishing fleet, as well as national efforts to build and sell marine tugs, and developments in the river bus manufacturing project.
El-Sisi directed the necessity of completing all related projects within their specified timeframes and adhering to the highest global standards in execution to ensure the quality of the products and services provided.
El-Shenawy mentioned that El-Sisi was also briefed on the status of digitization and technology integration in the work of the Suez Canal Authority, including the expansion of electronic application usage. He stressed the importance of ensuring that the digitization achieves its objectives, especially in terms of rationalizing spending and ensuring governance and effectiveness in performance. He also emphasized the need for cooperation with major global companies in this regard and continuing efforts to localize industry and enhance external marketing activities for products to open foreign markets for export.
