أعلن وزير الداخلية والبلديات اللبناني أحمد الحجار اليوم (الأحد)، أن أمن واستقرار لبنان هما على رأس أولويات الدولة.
وقال الحجار إن العمل جار بكل جدية وحزم من أجل بسط سلطة الدولة على كامل الأراضي اللبنانية بقواها الذاتية حصرا.
لقاء الجالية في البحرين
ونقلت «الوكالة الوطنية للإعلام» اللبنانية عن وزير الداخلية قوله: هذا اللقاء يحمل الكثير من المعاني الوطنية والوجدانية وأنتم تمثلون وجه لبنان المُشرق في الخارج، ووجودكم الفاعل خير دليل على أن الروح اللبنانية لا تعرف حدودا، مضيفاً: «نحن في صلب التحضير للانتخابات النيابية القادمة، بما يشمل اقتراع اللبنانيين غير المقيمين، ونعمل بالتنسيق الكامل مع وزارة الخارجية والمغتربين، لضمان مشاركة المغتربين في هذا الاستحقاق الوطني في موعده في مايو 2026».
وأشار الحجار إلى أنه ورغم حجم التحديات التي نواجهها، فإننا على يقين بأن لبنان قادر على النهوض من جديد، وأضاف مخاطباً الجالية اللبنانية في البحرين، بحضور قائد الجيش العماد رودولف هيكل: «آمل أن تعودوا قريباً إلى وطنكم الذي يحتاج إلى كل فرد منكم، إلى طاقاتكم، وإيمانكم وثقتكم به».
لقاء الحجار بالزياني
والتقى وزير الداخلية والبلديات أحمد الحجار وزير الخارجية البحريني عبداللطيف بن راشد الزياني، على هامش مشاركته في منتدى حوار المنامة، وبحث معه العلاقات الأخوية التاريخية المتميزة التي تربط بين لبنان ومملكة البحرين وما تشهده من تطور على كافة المستويات، وسبل تعزيز التعاون الثنائي في مختلف المجالات والارتقاء به إلى آفاق أشمل بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة للبلدين والشعبين الشقيقين.

وبحث الجانبان الجهود التي تبذلها الحكومة اللبنانية لتعزيز الأمن والاستقرار في لبنان، بالإضافة إلى تبادل وجهات النظر تجاه مستجدات الأوضاع الإقليمية وانعكاساتها على الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة.
The Lebanese Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Ahmad al-Hajjar, announced today (Sunday) that the security and stability of Lebanon are at the top of the state's priorities.
Al-Hajjar stated that efforts are ongoing with seriousness and determination to establish the authority of the state over all Lebanese territories exclusively with its own forces.
Meeting with the Community in Bahrain
The Lebanese National News Agency reported the Minister of Interior saying: This meeting carries a lot of national and emotional significance, and you represent the bright face of Lebanon abroad. Your active presence is a clear indication that the Lebanese spirit knows no boundaries. He added: "We are in the midst of preparations for the upcoming parliamentary elections, which includes voting for non-resident Lebanese, and we are working in full coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants to ensure the participation of expatriates in this national entitlement on time in May 2026."
Al-Hajjar pointed out that despite the magnitude of the challenges we face, we are confident that Lebanon is capable of rising again. He added, addressing the Lebanese community in Bahrain, in the presence of Army Commander General Rudolf Haikal: "I hope you will return soon to your homeland, which needs every one of you, your energies, your faith, and your trust in it."
Al-Hajjar's Meeting with Al-Zayani
Minister of Interior and Municipalities Ahmad al-Hajjar met with Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani on the sidelines of his participation in the Manama Dialogue Forum. They discussed the distinguished historical brotherly relations that bind Lebanon and the Kingdom of Bahrain and the developments occurring at all levels, as well as ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields and elevate it to broader horizons that serve the common interests of both countries and their brotherly peoples.
