اشتعلت مجدداً «حرب الطاقة» بين موسكو وكييف، وأعلنت المخابرات العسكرية الأوكرانية، اليوم (السبت)، شن هجوم تسبب في وقوع انفجارات وتعليق العمليات في خط أنابيب روسي للمنتجات النفطية في منطقة موسكو. وأكدت أن الهجوم الذي نفذ، أمس الجمعة، دمر أنابيب لنقل البنزين والديزل ووقود الطائرات للجيش الروسي.
وأفادت أجهزة الطوارئ الأوكرانية، بأن هجوماً شنته روسيا خلال الليل تسبب في اندلاع حريق في موقع لإنتاج الغاز في منطقة بولتافا.
وكثفت القوات الروسية هجماتها على منشآت الطاقة الأوكرانية خلال الأشهر القليلة الماضية. وأسقطت الدفاعات الجوية الروسية 98 طائرة مُسيّرة أوكرانية خلال الليل فوق مناطق روسية.
وأضافت وزارة الدفاع أن 11 طائرة مسيرة، بينها 6 طائرات كانت متجهة إلى العاصمة الروسية "جرى تدميرها فوق منطقة موسكو".
وكانت وزارة الدفاع الروسية أعلنت في وقت سابق اعتراض وتدمير 38 طائرة مُسيّرة أوكرانية خلال 3 ساعات فوق منطقتين في جنوب روسيا وفوق شبه جزيرة القرم التي ضمتها روسيا من أوكرانيا عام 2014.
من جانبها، دانت وزارة الخارجية الأوكرانية ما وصفته بهجمات روسية على اثنتين من محطات الكهرباء الفرعية الحيوية، التي تزود محطات الطاقة النووية الأوكرانية بالكهرباء من خلال خط خارجي. وذكرت أن روسيا نفذت "ضربات موجهة على هذه المحطات الفرعية".
وأضافت الوزارة أن الضربات المُتعمدة على منشآت الطاقة المدنية، والتي تؤثر بشكل مباشر على التشغيل الآمن للمنشآت النووية، تحمل بصمات الإرهاب النووي وتُشكل انتهاكاً خطيراً للقانون الإنساني الدولي.
وتتبادل روسيا وأوكرانيا الاتهامات بانتظام بالانخراط في أنشطة عسكرية تعرض السلامة في محطات الطاقة النووية الأربع العاملة في أوكرانيا للخطر، ولا سيما محطة زابوريجيا.
واستولت القوات الروسية على محطة زابوريجيا، أكبر محطة في أوروبا وتضم 6 مفاعلات، في الأسابيع الأولى من حربها على أوكرانيا في فبراير 2022.
وتوقفت الوصلتان الخارجيتان لمحطة زابوريجيا عن العمل لمدة 30 يوماً تقريباً في سبتمبر وأكتوبر، ما أجبر المسؤولين على الاعتماد على مولدات الديزل الطارئة.
وتبادلت كييف وموسكو الاتهامات بالتسبب في انقطاع التيار الكهربائي وتعطيل الجهود الرامية لإصلاحه.
The "energy war" between Moscow and Kyiv has reignited, and the Ukrainian military intelligence announced today (Saturday) that it launched an attack that caused explosions and suspended operations in a Russian oil products pipeline in the Moscow region. They confirmed that the attack, carried out yesterday (Friday), destroyed pipelines for transporting gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel for the Russian army.
Ukrainian emergency services reported that an attack launched by Russia overnight caused a fire at a gas production site in the Poltava region.
Russian forces have intensified their attacks on Ukrainian energy facilities in recent months. Russian air defenses shot down 98 Ukrainian drones overnight over Russian territories.
The Ministry of Defense added that 11 drones, including 6 that were heading towards the Russian capital, were "destroyed over the Moscow region."
The Russian Ministry of Defense had previously announced the interception and destruction of 38 Ukrainian drones within 3 hours over two regions in southern Russia and over the Crimean Peninsula, which Russia annexed from Ukraine in 2014.
For its part, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry condemned what it described as Russian attacks on two vital substations that supply electricity to Ukrainian nuclear power plants through an external line. It stated that Russia carried out "targeted strikes on these substations."
The ministry added that the deliberate strikes on civilian energy facilities, which directly affect the safe operation of nuclear facilities, bear the hallmarks of nuclear terrorism and constitute a serious violation of international humanitarian law.
Russia and Ukraine regularly exchange accusations of engaging in military activities that endanger the safety of the four operational nuclear power plants in Ukraine, particularly the Zaporizhzhia plant.
Russian forces seized the Zaporizhzhia plant, the largest in Europe with 6 reactors, in the early weeks of their war on Ukraine in February 2022.
The two external connections of the Zaporizhzhia plant were out of operation for about 30 days in September and October, forcing officials to rely on emergency diesel generators.
Kyiv and Moscow have exchanged accusations of causing power outages and disrupting efforts to repair them.
