فيما أكدت مصادر طبية فلسطينية مقتل 9 مدنيين وإصابة 15 آخرين جراء غارات جوية إسرائيلية استهدفت مدينتيْ غزة وخان يونس في القطاع المحاصر، أعلن نائب الرئيس الأمريكي جي دي فانس، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، أن وقف إطلاق النار في غزة صامد.
وقال دي فانس: حركة حماس أو جهة أخرى داخل القطاع هاجمت جندياً إسرائيلياً، فيما نقلت صحيفة «وول ستريت جورنال» عن مسؤول أمريكي مطلع قوله إن إسرائيل تنفذ ضربات محددة الأهداف في القطاع ولا تهدف إلى تقويض اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار القائم.
ضربات قوية
بدورها نقلت شبكة «سي إن إن» عن مسؤول أمريكي مطلع أن إسرائيل أبلغت واشنطن بقرارها تنفيذ ضربات عسكرية في قطاع غزة.
وفي السياق ذاته، نقلت صحيفة «معاريف» الإسرائيلية عن مسؤول رفيع قوله: خطوة توسيع المنطقة الواقعة داخل الخط الأصفر تم تنسيقها مع الإدارة الأمريكية، لا ننوي في هذه المرحلة نسف الاتفاق وإعلان استئناف القتال.
وذكر مصدر إسرائيلي لصحيفة «يديعوت أحرونوت» الإسرائيلية أن «حماس كان يجب أن تعيد كل الجثث خلال 72 ساعة، لكنها تعيدها بالقطرة»، مبيناً أن «نتنياهو وجه بتنفيذ هجوم قوي وستكون هناك خطوات إضافية لاحقاً».
وأشار إلى أن نتنياهو أعطى توجيهاته للقيادة العسكرية ثم أبلغ الأمريكيين بالقرار.
بالمقابل، نفت حركة حماس، علاقتها بحادث إطلاق النار في رفح، مؤكدة التزامها باتفاق وقف إطلاق النار.
انتهاك لاتفاق غزة
ووصفت الحركة في بيان قصف الاحتلال على مناطق في قطاع غزة بـ«الانتهاك الصارخ لاتفاق وقف إطلاق النار الذي تم توقيعه برعاية الرئيس الأمريكي ترمب»، مطالبة الوسطاء الضامنين بالتحرك فوراً للضغط على الاحتلال وكبح تصعيده ضد المدنيين ووقف انتهاكاته للاتفاق.
وأشارت إلى أن القصف على قطاع غزة امتداد لسلسلة خروق تؤكد إصرار الاحتلال على انتهاك بنود الاتفاق ومحاولة إفشاله.
وشن جيش الإحتلال الإسرائيلي غارات على محيط مجمع الشفاء في مدينة غزة، كما استهدف مواقع عدة في القطاع.
While Palestinian medical sources confirmed the death of 9 civilians and the injury of 15 others due to Israeli airstrikes targeting the cities of Gaza and Khan Younis in the besieged enclave, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance announced today (Tuesday) that the ceasefire in Gaza remains intact.
Vance stated: Hamas or another entity within the enclave attacked an Israeli soldier, while the Wall Street Journal quoted a knowledgeable American official as saying that Israel is carrying out targeted strikes in the enclave and does not aim to undermine the existing ceasefire agreement.
Strong Strikes
For its part, CNN reported that a knowledgeable American official stated that Israel has informed Washington of its decision to carry out military strikes in the Gaza Strip.
In the same context, the Israeli newspaper Maariv quoted a senior official as saying: The step to expand the area within the yellow line was coordinated with the U.S. administration; we do not intend at this stage to undermine the agreement and declare a resumption of fighting.
An Israeli source told the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth that "Hamas was supposed to return all the bodies within 72 hours, but it is returning them drop by drop," indicating that "Netanyahu has ordered a strong attack and there will be additional steps later."
He noted that Netanyahu has given his directives to the military leadership and then informed the Americans of the decision.
In contrast, Hamas denied its involvement in the shooting incident in Rafah, affirming its commitment to the ceasefire agreement.
Violation of the Gaza Agreement
The movement described the occupation's bombing of areas in the Gaza Strip as a "blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement that was signed under the auspices of U.S. President Trump," demanding that the guaranteeing mediators act immediately to pressure the occupation and curb its escalation against civilians and stop its violations of the agreement.
It pointed out that the bombing of the Gaza Strip is an extension of a series of violations that confirm the occupation's insistence on violating the terms of the agreement and attempting to sabotage it.
The Israeli occupation army launched airstrikes around the Shifa complex in the city of Gaza, as well as targeting several sites in the enclave.
