طبّقت الهيئة العامة للنقل، أمس، قرار إلزام شركات نقل الطرود بعدم استلام أو نقل أي شحنة بريدية لا تتضمن العنوان الوطني، مؤكدة تنفيذ العقوبات النظامية بحق الشركات التي لم تلتزم بالقرار.
وبيّنت أن تطبيق القرار يأتي في إطار جهودها لتنظيم قطاع نقل الطرود، ورفع كفاءة عمليات التوصيل فيه، إلى جانب تعزيز جودة الخدمات المقدمة للمستفيدين، والحد من الاتصالات غير الضرورية بين مندوبي التوصيل والمستفيدين.
وأوضحت الهيئة، أن المرحلة الحالية تشهد تطبيق الغرامات المالية بحق الشركات، التي لم تلتزم بالعنوان الوطني، وفق ما نصّت عليه اللوائح التنظيمية ذات العلاقة، مشيرة إلى أن الغرامات تبدأ من 5 آلاف ريال وتصل إلى 50 ألف ريال على الشركات غير الملتزمة بهذا القرار، بما يعزّز مستوى الامتثال، ويضمن انسيابية العمليات التشغيلية في القطاع ويساهم في رفع جودته.
ودعت الهيئة العامة للنقل، جميع الشركات العاملة في نشاط نقل الشحنات البريدية إلى الالتزام بالتعليمات المعتمدة، والتأكد من استيفاء الشحنات للعنوان الوطني، بما يحقق الاستدامة بقطاع نقل الطرود، ويرتقي بتجربة المستفيدين في مختلف مناطق المملكة.
The General Transport Authority implemented, yesterday, a decision mandating parcel delivery companies not to accept or transport any postal shipment that does not include the national address, confirming the enforcement of regulatory penalties against companies that do not comply with the decision.
It clarified that the implementation of the decision is part of its efforts to organize the parcel delivery sector, enhance the efficiency of delivery operations, in addition to improving the quality of services provided to beneficiaries, and reducing unnecessary communications between delivery representatives and beneficiaries.
The authority explained that the current phase involves the application of financial penalties against companies that have not complied with the national address, according to the relevant regulatory provisions, noting that the fines start from 5,000 riyals and can reach up to 50,000 riyals for non-compliant companies, which enhances compliance levels, ensures the smoothness of operational processes in the sector, and contributes to improving its quality.
The General Transport Authority called on all companies operating in the postal shipment transport activity to adhere to the approved instructions and ensure that shipments meet the national address requirements, achieving sustainability in the parcel transport sector and enhancing the experience of beneficiaries in various regions of the Kingdom.
