كشفت وزارة الخارجية السورية، اليوم (الإثنين)، عن إرسالها وفداً تقنياً إلى روسيا، لإعداد خطة عمل شاملة بهدف إعادة تفعيل الخدمات القنصلية والإدارية، موضحة أن هذه الخطوة تأتي بما يضمن انتظام سير العمل، وتحقيق أعلى مستويات الخدمة للمواطنين السوريين المقيمين في روسيا.
وشهدت الفترة الأخيرة حراكاً دبلوماسياً نشطاً بين سورية وروسيا، تُوج بزيارة الرئيس السوري أحمد الشرع إلى موسكو ولقاء الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين، في زيارة هي الأولى للشرع منذ سقوط نظام بشار الأسد في ديسمبر 2024.
وأكد بوتين خلال اللقاء حرص موسكو على دعم سورية في مرحلة ما بعد الحرب وإعادة الإعمار، لافتاً إلى أن العلاقات مع دمشق اتسمت طيلة 80 عاماً بطابع ودي استثنائي.
ولفت إلى أن موسكو كانت على الدوام تسترشد بأمر واحد، وهو مصالح الشعب السوري، فيما أكد الشرع مضي بلاده قدماً نحو إعادة ضبط العلاقات مع روسيا.
وأكد «الكرملين» على لسان نائب رئيس الوزراء الروسي ألكسندر نوفاك الاتفاق على استئناف عمل اللجنة الحكومية الروسية السورية المشتركة لتطوير التعاون التجاري والاقتصادي بين البلدين، موضحاً أن الجانبين اتفقا على تحديد قائمة المشاريع الاستثمارية التي سيتم تنفيذها في الفترة القريبة.
ولفت إلى أن هذا مرتبط ليس فقط بالمشاريع الاقتصادية، بل بمجال التعليم والصحة والثقافة والرياضة أيضاً.
The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs revealed today (Monday) that it has sent a technical delegation to Russia to prepare a comprehensive action plan aimed at reactivating consular and administrative services, explaining that this step comes to ensure the regularity of work and achieve the highest levels of service for Syrian citizens residing in Russia.
Recently, there has been active diplomatic movement between Syria and Russia, culminating in the visit of Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara to Moscow and his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, marking al-Shara's first visit since the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime in December 2024.
During the meeting, Putin emphasized Moscow's commitment to supporting Syria in the post-war phase and reconstruction, noting that relations with Damascus have been characterized by an exceptionally friendly nature for 80 years.
He pointed out that Moscow has always been guided by one principle: the interests of the Syrian people, while al-Shara confirmed his country's progress towards recalibrating relations with Russia.
The Kremlin, through Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, confirmed the agreement to resume the work of the Russian-Syrian joint governmental committee to develop trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, explaining that both sides agreed to identify a list of investment projects to be implemented in the near future.
He noted that this is related not only to economic projects but also to the fields of education, health, culture, and sports.
