أعلن رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو، اليوم (الأربعاء)، معارضته أي دور لقوات تركية في قطاع غزة في إطار مهمة لمراقبة وقف إطلاق النار مع حركة حماس بموجب الخطة الأمريكية.
وذكرت القناة الـ12 الإسرائيلية أن نتنياهو أبلغ نائب الرئيس الأمريكي جي دي فانس أن إسرائيل لن تسمح بدخول قوات تركية إلى قطاع غزة، موضحة أن فانس طرح دولا عدة لدخول غزة كجزء من الإدارة البديلة في القطاع.
تفاؤل أمريكي بتنفيذ الاتفاق
وقال نتنياهو، وهو يقف إلى جانب جي دي فانس، خلال زيارة للقدس، إنهما ناقشا تصورات اليوم التالي لإنهاء الحرب في غزة، وهو ما تضمن الأطراف التي يمكنها إرساء الأمن في القطاع الذي مزقته الحرب على مدى عامين.
وعبّر فانس مجدداً عن تفاؤله إزاء صمود وقف إطلاق النار، موضحاً أن خطة ترمب لوقف إطلاق النار تسير بشكل أفضل من المتوقع. وقال فانس: «لم أقل أبداً إن الأمر سهل لكني متفائل بأن وقف إطلاق النار سيصمد، وبأننا نستطيع بالفعل بناء مستقبل أفضل في الشرق الأوسط بأكمله».
قرار نرويجي لدعم الأمم المتحدة بغزة
من جهة أخرى، كشف وزير خارجية النرويج سبت بارث إيدي عزم بلاده طرح قرار بمجلس الأمن يطالب إسرائيل برفع القيود عن المساعدات، مبيناً أن قرار محكمة العدل الدولية مهم ويأتي بعد مبادرة من النرويج وسعداء بوضوح القرار. وأشار إلى أن قرار المحكمة يجب أن يحول للجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة للبناء عليه، ويضع كل الدول وليس فقط إسرائيل أمام مسؤولياتها.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced today (Wednesday) his opposition to any role for Turkish forces in the Gaza Strip as part of a mission to monitor the ceasefire with Hamas under the American plan.
Israeli Channel 12 reported that Netanyahu informed U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance that Israel would not allow Turkish forces to enter the Gaza Strip, clarifying that Vance proposed several countries to enter Gaza as part of an alternative administration in the sector.
American Optimism for Implementing the Agreement
Netanyahu, standing alongside J.D. Vance during a visit to Jerusalem, stated that they discussed the visions for the day after the end of the war in Gaza, which included the parties that could establish security in the war-torn sector.
Vance expressed his optimism once again regarding the durability of the ceasefire, explaining that Trump's ceasefire plan is proceeding better than expected. Vance said, "I never said it would be easy, but I am optimistic that the ceasefire will hold, and that we can indeed build a better future for the entire Middle East."
Norwegian Decision to Support the UN in Gaza
On another note, Norwegian Foreign Minister Søreid Bartholomew revealed his country's intention to propose a resolution in the Security Council demanding Israel lift restrictions on aid, noting that the International Court of Justice's decision is important and comes after an initiative from Norway, and they are clearly pleased with the decision. He pointed out that the court's decision should be referred to the United Nations General Assembly for further action, placing all countries, not just Israel, before their responsibilities.
