قتيلان و3 جرحى من الحرس الثوري في هجوم مسلح

Two members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard were killed in an armed attack in the Sarvabad area of Kurdistan province in the northwest of the country today (Tuesday). The IRNA news agency reported that the attack was carried out by gunmen using hand grenades, resulting in injuries to three other individuals in the incident.

The Jerusalem Guard Command affiliated with the Revolutionary Guard in Kurdistan province announced in a statement that "two members of the Revolutionary Guard were killed and three people were injured as a result of a terrorist attack carried out by an anti-revolution group targeting a site belonging to the Basij forces in the Hezbollah Party area of Sarvabad city in Kurdistan province, western Iran."

According to the Revolutionary Guard's statement, the attackers used hand grenades in the assault that resulted in the deaths of Ali Reza Valizadeh and Ayoub Shiri, while three members were injured and transported to the hospital for treatment.

The command stated in its announcement that security forces are continuing to pursue the perpetrators of the attack and that investigations are ongoing to identify the parties involved.

The command emphasized that these terrorist attacks will not deter the armed forces from their determination to protect the security and stability of the region, stressing the Revolutionary Guard's continued efforts to confront terrorist organizations supported by global arrogance.
