The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today (Monday) that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has officially apologized for the Israeli attack that targeted the territory of the State of Qatar, affirming his commitment not to repeat any violation of Qatari sovereignty in the future.

The ministry clarified in a statement that Netanyahu pledged to the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani not to carry out any new targeting of Qatari territory, in the context of respecting the sovereignty of the state.

For his part, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani confirmed Qatar's complete and absolute rejection of any infringement on the sovereignty of the State of Qatar under any circumstances, emphasizing that the protection of citizens and residents in the country represents a top priority for the Qatari government.

The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs welcomed the guarantees against the recurrence of attacks, considering that these commitments represent a step in the right direction towards respecting international law and the sovereignty of nations.
