أعلن البيت الأبيض اليوم (الإثنين) أن رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بينيامين نتنياهو تعهد بعدم تكرار هجوم العاصمة القطرية الدوحة، مؤكداً أن نتنياهو عبر عن أسفه لانتهاك إسرائيل سيادة قطر.
وقال البيت الأبيض في بيان: نتنياهو أبدى أسفه البالغ لمقتل رجل أمن قطري دون قصد في الضربة الصاروخية على قيادات حركة حماس، مبيناً أن رئيس وزراء قطر رحب بالاعتذار وأكد استعداد الدوحة لمواصلة المساهمة الهادفة في الأمن الإقليمي.
علاقات إسرائيل وقطر
وأشار البيت الأبيض إلى أن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب يرغب بوضع العلاقات الإسرائيلية القطرية على مسار إيجابي بعد سوء الفهم، لافتاً إلى أن ترمب ناقش مع نتنياهو ورئيس وزراء قطر مقترح إنهاء الحرب في غزة.
وأكد البيت الأبيض مشاركة الرئيس الأمريكي ترمب باتصال ثلاثي مع رئيس الوزراء وزير الخارجية القطري ونتنياهو.
اعتذار نتنياهو
وكان موقع «أكسيوس» الأمريكي قد نقل عن ما وصفها بـ«المصادر المطلعة» قولها إن نتنياهو أجرى اتصالاً هاتفياً برئيس الوزراء وزير الخارجية القطري الشيخ محمد بن عبدالرحمن آل ثاني، اليوم، واعتذر فيه عن انتهاك السيادة القطرية في الغارة على الدوحة، وأعرب عن أسفه لمقتل حارس أمن قطري، موضحاً أن الاعتذار الإسرائيلي عن الغارة كان شرطاً قطرياً رئيسياً لاستئناف مفاوضاتها مع حركة حماس حول صفقة لإنهاء الحرب في غزة وتحرير الأسرى المتبقين.
وذكر الموقع أن الاعتذار من الممكن أن يمهّد الطريق أمام صفقة سلام، مبيناً أن الاعتذار جرى خلال لقاء نتنياهو بالرئيس الأمريكي ترمب.
مبادرة الرئيس الأمريكي
وفي السياق ذاته، نقلت قناة «الجزيرة» القطرية عن مصدر دبلوماسي قوله إن نتنياهو اعتذر في اتصال ثلاثي مع أمير قطر وترمب عن انتهاك سيادة قطر ومقتل ضابط أمن في الهجوم على الدوحة، مبيناً أن الاتصال جرى بمبادرة من الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، وتمت المباحثات خلاله بمشاركة الأطراف الثلاثة.
وكانت إسرائيل قد قصفت الدوحة في 9 سبتمبر الجاري، ما تسبب في مقتل 6 من عناصر حركة حماس وحارس أمن قطري، ولقي هذا الإجرام الإسرائيلي تنديداً دولياً واسعاً، وعُقدت عقبه قمتان عربية وإسلامية وأخرى خليجية، إضافة إلى اجتماعات مجلس الدفاع المشترك في مجلس التعاون الخليجي، الذي خرج بـ5 قرارات قوية، من بينها تفعيل آلية الدفاع المشترك، وسبقه اجتماع للمجلس العسكري الخليجي لمناقشة الاعتداء الإسرائيلي على الدوحة.
The White House announced today (Monday) that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has pledged not to repeat the attack on the Qatari capital, Doha, confirming that Netanyahu expressed his regret for Israel's violation of Qatar's sovereignty.
The White House stated in a statement: Netanyahu expressed his deep regret for the unintended killing of a Qatari security officer in the missile strike on Hamas leaders, indicating that the Prime Minister of Qatar welcomed the apology and affirmed Doha's readiness to continue contributing meaningfully to regional security.
Israel-Qatar Relations
The White House noted that U.S. President Donald Trump wishes to put Israeli-Qatari relations on a positive track following the misunderstanding, pointing out that Trump discussed with Netanyahu and the Prime Minister of Qatar a proposal to end the war in Gaza.
The White House confirmed President Trump’s participation in a three-way call with the Qatari Prime Minister and Netanyahu.
Netanyahu's Apology
The American website "Axios" reported that what it described as "informed sources" said that Netanyahu made a phone call to Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani today, in which he apologized for violating Qatari sovereignty in the raid on Doha, expressing his regret for the killing of a Qatari security guard, explaining that the Israeli apology for the raid was a key Qatari condition for resuming negotiations with Hamas regarding a deal to end the war in Gaza and free the remaining prisoners.
The website mentioned that the apology could pave the way for a peace deal, indicating that the apology took place during Netanyahu's meeting with President Trump.
U.S. President's Initiative
In this context, the Qatari channel "Al Jazeera" quoted a diplomatic source saying that Netanyahu apologized in a three-way call with the Emir of Qatar and Trump for violating Qatar's sovereignty and for the killing of a security officer in the attack on Doha, noting that the call was initiated by U.S. President Donald Trump, and discussions were held with the participation of all three parties.
Israel had bombed Doha on September 9, resulting in the deaths of 6 Hamas members and a Qatari security guard, and this Israeli aggression faced widespread international condemnation, leading to the holding of two Arab and Islamic summits and another Gulf summit, in addition to meetings of the Joint Defense Council in the Gulf Cooperation Council, which resulted in 5 strong resolutions, including activating the joint defense mechanism, preceded by a meeting of the Gulf military council to discuss the Israeli aggression on Doha.
