دوّت انفجارات عنيفة في عدد من المواقع الحوثية بصنعاء، اليوم (الخميس). وبحسب وسائل إعلام حوثية، فإن الهجوم الذي تزامن مع خطاب لزعيم الجماعة عبدالملك الحوثي استهدف مواقع في العاصمة دون تحديدها.
وأوضح شهود عيان أن القصف استهدف منازل يُرجّح وجود قيادات حوثية بداخلها، مشيرين إلى أن دوي 10 انفجارات سُمع بشكل متتالٍ وغير مألوف في أحد المواقع جنوب صنعاء.
وذكر الشهود أنهم سمعوا أصوات سيارات إسعاف تتجه من منطقة السبعين نحو جنوب العاصمة، بينما أكد آخرون أن الضربات كانت ارتجاجية وقوية ومرعبة.
وأفادت مصادر إعلامية في صنعاء أن القصف استهدف منزل رجل الأعمال جمال الحثرة، وأحدث أضراراً كبيرة بالمنزل والمنازل المجاورة.
من جانبه، قال المتحدث باسم جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي أفيخاي أدرعي: «هاجمنا بدقة هدفاً عسكرياً حوثياً في منطقة صنعاء».
وذكرت صحيفة يديعوت أحرونوت العبرية أن الغارات على اليمن صادق عليها وزير الدفاع يوآف غالانت ورئيس الأركان آيال زامير وقيادة الجيش، وتم إطلاع نتنياهو عليها عبر «الخط الأحمر». فيما قالت هيئة البث الإسرائيلية إن الهجوم على صنعاء «استثنائي وذو أهمية».
وأشارت الهيئة إلى أن جيش الاحتلال حاول استهداف قيادات حوثية بارزة في العملية التي شارك فيها سلاح البحرية. كما ذكرت القناة الـ14 العبرية أن الهجمات استهدفت قيادات رفيعة من الجماعة كانوا في الموقع.
أما القناة الـ12 العبرية فأفادت بأن عمليات الاغتيال خُطط لها منذ بداية الأسبوع ضمن الموجة السابقة من الغارات، ونُفذت اليوم.
في المقابل، نفى مسؤول حوثي صحة هذه التقارير، مؤكداً أن الغارات لم تستهدف قيادات، لكنه لم يقدّم أي معلومات عن طبيعة الأهداف التي تعرضت للقصف الإسرائيلي.
وجاء القصف الإسرائيلي على صنعاء بعد ساعات من إعلان الاحتلال اعتراض صواريخ حوثية.
Violent explosions were heard in several Houthi sites in Sana'a today (Thursday). According to Houthi media, the attack coincided with a speech by the group's leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi and targeted locations in the capital without specifying them.
Eyewitnesses explained that the shelling targeted houses where Houthi leaders were likely present, noting that the sound of 10 explosions was heard in succession and unusually in one location south of Sana'a.
The witnesses reported hearing ambulance sirens heading from the Sab'een area towards the south of the capital, while others confirmed that the strikes were tremorous, strong, and terrifying.
Media sources in Sana'a reported that the shelling targeted the home of businessman Jamal al-Huthra, causing significant damage to the house and neighboring homes.
For his part, the spokesperson for the Israeli occupation army, Avichai Adraee, said: "We accurately targeted a Houthi military objective in the Sana'a area."
Yedioth Ahronoth reported that the strikes on Yemen were approved by Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, and the army command, and Netanyahu was informed via the "red line." Meanwhile, the Israeli Broadcasting Authority stated that the attack on Sana'a was "exceptional and significant."
The authority indicated that the occupation army attempted to target prominent Houthi leaders in an operation that involved the naval forces. Channel 14 reported that the attacks targeted high-ranking leaders of the group who were at the site.
Channel 12 reported that the assassination operations were planned since the beginning of the week as part of the previous wave of strikes and were executed today.
In contrast, a Houthi official denied the accuracy of these reports, asserting that the strikes did not target leaders, but he did not provide any information about the nature of the targets that were subjected to the Israeli bombing.
The Israeli bombing of Sana'a came just hours after the occupation announced the interception of Houthi missiles.
