أعلن الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي، في وقت ليل (الأربعاء/الخميس) أن كبار مفاوضيه سيتوجهون إلى الولايات المتحدة غداً (الجمعة) لإجراء محادثات حول الضمانات الأمنية لبلاده في ظل استمرار الحرب الروسية، مبيناً أن الهدف التحرك بأسرع ما يمكن حتى تصبح الضمانات أداة ضغط على موسكو.
وقال زيلينسكي في خطاب، إن رئيس مكتبه أندريه يرماك، ووزير الدفاع السابق رستم عمروف، سيلتقيان مسؤولين أمريكيين في نيويورك غداً (الجمعة)، مبيناً أن كل من يعمل على مضمون الضمانات الأمنية سيشارك في الجوانب العسكرية والسياسية والاقتصادية.
وأضاف: يجب أن يرى الروس جدية موقف العالم وحجم العواقب إذا استمرت الحرب، متهماً موسكو برفض التفاوض ونقض وعد كانت قد قطعته للرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب.
ميدانياً، أكد سيرغي ليبيديف، منسق مجموعات العمل السرية الموالية لروسيا بمقاطعة نيكولاييف، أنه تم استهداف مراكز قيادة وتحكم تابعة للقوات المسلحة الأوكرانية، في العاصمة كييف وضواحيها، مبيناً أن كييف وضواحيها تعرضت لاستهدافات شملت منشآت قيادية رئيسية ومراكز قيادة وخطوط اتصالات.
وأشار إلى أن هناك معلومات غير مؤكدة تفيد باستهداف مقر معين في الضواحي، ويوجد في المقر ما يصل إلى 25 ضابطاً من القوات المسلحة الأوكرانية، ونحو 10 ضباط من حلف شمال الأطلسي (الناتو)، وهو ما لم تؤكده السلطات الأوكرانية.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced late at night (Wednesday/Thursday) that senior negotiators will head to the United States tomorrow (Friday) to discuss security guarantees for his country amid the ongoing Russian war, stating that the goal is to act as quickly as possible so that the guarantees become a pressure tool on Moscow.
Zelensky said in a speech that his chief of staff Andriy Yermak and former Defense Minister Rustem Umerov will meet with American officials in New York tomorrow (Friday), indicating that everyone working on the content of the security guarantees will participate in military, political, and economic aspects.
He added: The Russians must see the seriousness of the world's position and the magnitude of the consequences if the war continues, accusing Moscow of refusing to negotiate and breaking a promise it had made to U.S. President Donald Trump.
On the ground, Sergey Lebedev, coordinator of pro-Russian working groups in Mykolaiv Oblast, confirmed that command and control centers belonging to the Ukrainian armed forces were targeted in the capital Kyiv and its suburbs, indicating that Kyiv and its suburbs were subjected to strikes that included key leadership facilities, command centers, and communication lines.
He noted that there is unconfirmed information about a specific headquarters being targeted in the suburbs, which houses up to 25 officers from the Ukrainian armed forces and about 10 officers from NATO, which has not been confirmed by Ukrainian authorities.
