أعلن المدعي العام الألماني، اليوم (الخميس)، اعتقال الشرطة لأوكراني يشتبه تورطه في الهجمات على خطوط أنابيب نورد ستريم، موضحاً أن المتهم نسق الهجمات.
وأضح المدي العام الألماني في بيان أن المتهم سينقل من الشرطة إلى المثول أمام قاض ألماني، مبيناً أن المشتبه به «سيرهي كيه» كان جزءا من مجموعة أفراد زرعوا عبوات ناسفة في خطوط الأنابيب قرب جزيرة بورنهولم في الدنمارك وفقاً. لقوانين الخصوصية الألمانية.
وأشار البيان إلى أن المتهم وشركاءه انطلقوا من مدينة روستوك على الساحل الشمالي الشرقي لألمانيا على متن يخت شراعي لتنفيذ الهجوم استأجروه من شركة ألمانية بوثائق هوية مزورة عن طريق وسطاء.
وتصرفت السلطات بناء على مذكرة اعتقال أوروبية للمشتبه به الذي ستوجه له اتهامات بالتواطؤ للتسبب في انفجار والتخريب المخالف للدستور وتدمير منشآت.
وكانت روسيا ودول غربية قالت إن الهجمات التي وقعت على خط الأنابيب أعمال تخريبية، ولم تعلن أي جهة مسؤوليتها عن الانفجارات التي وقعت في سبتمبر 2022 وتسببت في أضرار جسيمة لخطوط الأنابيب التي تنقل الغاز من روسيا إلى أوروبا، ما شكل وقتها تصعيدا كبيرا في الصراع الأوكراني وفاقم أزمة إمدادات الطاقة في القارة الأوروبية.

The German Attorney General clarified in a statement that the accused will be transferred from police custody to appear before a German judge, indicating that the suspect, "Serhiy K.", was part of a group of individuals who planted explosives in the pipelines near Bornholm Island in Denmark, according to German privacy laws.
The statement noted that the accused and his associates departed from the city of Rostock on the northeastern coast of Germany aboard a sailing yacht to carry out the attack, which they rented from a German company using forged identity documents through intermediaries.
The authorities acted based on a European arrest warrant for the suspect, who will face charges of complicity in causing an explosion, unconstitutional sabotage, and destruction of facilities.
Russia and Western countries have stated that the attacks on the pipeline were acts of sabotage, and no party has claimed responsibility for the explosions that occurred in September 2022, causing severe damage to the pipelines that transport gas from Russia to Europe, which at the time represented a significant escalation in the Ukrainian conflict and exacerbated the energy supply crisis in continental Europe.
