اتفقت روسيا وأوكرانيا اليوم (الأربعاء) خلال محادثات جرت بالعاصمة التركية إسطنبول على تبادل مزيد من أسرى الحرب بمن في ذلك عسكريون ومدنيون، وبحسب رئيس الوفد الروسي فلاديمير ميدينسكي فإن بلاده مستعدة لتسليم 3 آلاف جثة أخرى لجنود قتلى.
وقال ميدينسكي للصحفيين: موسكو وافقت في محادثات السلام مع أوكرانيا على تبادل مزيد من أسرى الحرب، مضيفاً: من الضروري التوصل إلى شروط اتفاق لعقد اجتماع بين رئيسي روسيا وأوكرانيا.
وأشار إلى أن الاجتماع المحتمل بين رئيسي روسيا وأوكرانيا سيكون لتوقيع وثائق وليس لإجراء مناقشات.
بالمقابل، قال رئيس الوفد الأوكراني رستم أوميروف إن كييف عرضت على موسكو عقد قمة لزعيمي البلدين بهدف إنهاء الحرب بحلول نهاية أغسطس القادم، موضحاً أن أوكرانيا مستعدة لوقف إطلاق النار.
ودعا أوميروف، الذي يشغل منصب رئيس مجلس الدفاع والأمن الوطني الأوكراني، في حديثه لوسائل الإعلام روسيا إلى أن «تظهر نهجاً بناء وواقعياً».
في الوقت ذاته، قال متحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية الأوكرانية، إن روسيا اقترحت الاتفاق على هدنة قصيرة الأجل لكنها ليست وقفاً حقيقياً للأعمال القتالية.
واختُتمت اليوم الجولة الثالثة من محادثات السلام بين روسيا وأوكرانيا في إسطنبول وهي أول محادثات بين الجانبين منذ أكثر من 7 أسابيع، وبحسب وكالة «تاس» الروسية، فإن الجانبين اتفقا خلال المحادثات التي استمرت أقل من ساعة، على إجراء جولة مباحثات أخرى بخصوص تبادل الأسرى.
وكان وزير الخارجية التركي هاكان فيدان قد قال خلال كلمته في افتتاح المحادثات بقصر سيراجان في إسطنبول، إن بلاده تأمل في أن يجري وفدا أوكرانيا وروسيا محادثات تركز على النتائج بشأن المذكرات التي تبادلها الجانبان، مشيراً إلى أن هدف تركيا هو «إنهاء هذه الحرب الدموية في أقرب وقت ممكن من خلال وقف إطلاق النار الذي سيمهد الطريق للسلام».
وكانت وكالة «إنترفاكس» الروسية للأنباء، قد نقلت عن مصدر قوله إن رئيس الوفد الروسي فلاديمير ميدينسكي ونظيره الأوكراني رستم أوميروف عقدا اجتماعاً منفرداً ومغلقاً بينهما في إسطنبول قبل عقد الجولة الثالثة من محادثات السلام.
وأضاف أن «مذكرات التفاهم ومسألة التبادلات المحتملة (لأسرى أو محتجزين) ستكون على رأس جدول أعمال المحادثات الروسية-الأوكرانية»، مبيناً أن من المتوقع أن يركّز الطرفان بشكل أساسي على وضع اللمسات الأخيرة على مسودات مذكرات التفاهم، ومناقشة عمليات التبادل.
وكان الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب قد هدد الأسبوع الماضي، بفرض عقوبات جديدة وصارمة على روسيا والدول التي تشتري صادراتها في حال عدم التوصل إلى اتفاق سلام في غضون 50 يوماً، فيما استبعد رئيس البرلمان الأمريكي أمس فرض عقوبات على روسيا قبل انقضاء مهلة الـ50 يوماً.

In contrast, the head of the Ukrainian delegation, Rustem Umerov, stated that Kyiv offered Moscow to hold a summit for the leaders of both countries with the aim of ending the war by the end of August, clarifying that Ukraine is ready for a ceasefire.
Umerov, who serves as the head of the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council, urged Russia in his remarks to the media to "show a constructive and realistic approach."
At the same time, a spokesperson for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry stated that Russia proposed agreeing on a short-term truce, but it is not a real cessation of hostilities.

According to the Russian news agency "TASS," the two sides agreed during the talks, which lasted less than an hour, to hold another round of negotiations regarding the exchange of prisoners.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated during his speech at the opening of the talks at the Ciragan Palace in Istanbul that his country hopes the Ukrainian and Russian delegations will engage in discussions focused on the outcomes regarding the memorandums exchanged by both sides, noting that Turkey's goal is to "end this bloody war as soon as possible through a ceasefire that will pave the way for peace."
