أعلنت الرئاسة المصرية أن الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي، سوف يستقبل غدًا، ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، الذي يقوم بزيارة عمل إلى مصر، لبحث تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية والتطورات الإقليمية والدولية.
وقال المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية المصرية، إن برنامج الزيارة يتضمن لقاءً ثنائيًا بين الأمير محمد بن سلمان والرئيس السيسي، يليه اجتماع موسع بمشاركة وفدي البلدين، قبل أن يقيم الرئيس المصري مأدبة غداء تكريمًا لولي العهد.
ومن المقرر أن تتصدر العلاقات السعودية - المصرية جدول المباحثات، بما يشمل سبل تطوير التعاون المشترك في مختلف المجالات، إلى جانب تبادل الرؤى بشأن عدد من القضايا والتطورات الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
وتأتي الزيارة في ظل تنسيق متواصل بين الرياض والقاهرة بشأن الملفات العربية والإقليمية، في وقت تشهد فيه المنطقة تطورات متسارعة، ولا سيما ما يتعلق بالأمن الإقليمي والأزمات والصراعات القائمة وسبل احتوائها.
وترتبط السعودية ومصر بعلاقات سياسية واقتصادية واستراتيجية وثيقة، وشهدت السنوات الأخيرة تكثيفًا للتنسيق بين البلدين على المستويين الثنائي ومتعدد الأطراف، إلى جانب تنامي الاستثمارات والتبادل التجاري والتعاون في عدد من القطاعات.
ويُنظر إلى التنسيق المصري السعودي باعتباره أحد محاور العمل العربي في التعامل مع القضايا الإقليمية، في ظل توافق البلدين على أهمية دعم استقرار المنطقة، واحترام سيادة الدول، وتغليب الحلول السياسية والدبلوماسية للأزمات.
The Egyptian presidency announced that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will receive tomorrow, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, who is on a working visit to Egypt to discuss enhancing bilateral relations and regional and international developments.
The official spokesperson for the Egyptian presidency stated that the visit's agenda includes a bilateral meeting between Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and President El-Sisi, followed by an expanded meeting with the participation of delegations from both countries, after which the Egyptian president will host a luncheon in honor of the Crown Prince.
It is expected that Saudi-Egyptian relations will top the agenda of discussions, including ways to develop joint cooperation in various fields, as well as exchanging views on several issues and regional and international developments of mutual interest.
The visit comes amid ongoing coordination between Riyadh and Cairo regarding Arab and regional files, at a time when the region is witnessing rapid developments, particularly concerning regional security and existing crises and conflicts and ways to contain them.
Saudi Arabia and Egypt share close political, economic, and strategic relations, and in recent years, there has been an intensification of coordination between the two countries at both bilateral and multilateral levels, along with a growth in investments, trade exchange, and cooperation in several sectors.
The Egyptian-Saudi coordination is viewed as one of the pillars of Arab action in addressing regional issues, given the two countries' agreement on the importance of supporting regional stability, respecting the sovereignty of states, and prioritizing political and diplomatic solutions to crises.
