The center indicated the activity of surface winds stirring up dust and sand in the northern parts of the Eastern Province, and parts of the regions of Tabuk and Riyadh, while the formation of fog during the night and early morning hours over the coastal areas of the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf cannot be ruled out.
In the Eastern Province, the center warned of a fog wave affecting the cities of Dammam and Dhahran and the governorates of Jubail, Ras Tanura, Qatif, Khobar, Bqaiq, and many others, expecting it to cause a reduction in horizontal visibility to between one and three kilometers on highways and open areas, with the situation expected to continue until 8 AM. The center is currently issuing active early warnings for the Eastern Province.
The governorate of Hafr Al-Batin is also experiencing active winds ranging between 40 and 49 kilometers per hour, leading to the stirring up of dust and sand and a reduction in horizontal visibility to between three and five kilometers on highways and open areas, with the situation expected to continue until 7 PM.
