أعلن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب اليوم (الإثنين)، عن اتفاق بين روسيا وأوكرانيا لوقف الهجمات على منشآت الطاقة.
وكتب ترمب على منصته «تروث سوشيال»: «اتفقت أوكرانيا على عدم استهداف منشآت الطاقة الروسية، ووافقت روسيا على الأمر نفسه!»، رافضاً أن تكون إيران مسؤولة عن ارتفاع أسعار الديزل في العالم. وقال ترمب: «إن ارتفاع أسعار الديزل في العالم سببه في الغالب الحرب الروسية-الأوكرانية، وليس إيران».
جاء ذلك في الوقت الذي قالت وزارة الدفاع الروسية، اليوم، إن قواتها استهدفت سفينة شحن في ميناء أوديسا، إلى جانب منشآت للسكك الحديدية في غربي أوكرانيا تُستخدم لنقل شحنات عسكرية من دول أوروبية ودعم كييف عسكرياً، في أول تأكيد للأنباء التي تحدثت عن استهداف القطار الذي كان يقل المدير السابق لوكالة الاستخبارات المركزية الأمريكية، الجنرال المتقاعد ديفيد بتريوس، والذي نجا من هجوم بطائرة مسيّرة أثناء ما كان عائداً من أوكرانيا في القطار قرب الحدود الأوكرانية-البولندية.
وصف هذا الحادث بالصعيد اللافت والذي يستهدف مسؤولين أمريكيين وبريطانيين وأوروبيين. وقال بتريوس، إنه سمع أصوات مسيّرات روسية بعد اجتياز نقطة الجمارك الأوكرانية، قبل أن يجري إجلاؤه مع ركاب آخرين، ثم سمع انفجاراً هائلاً. وأوضح أن مسيّرة روسية تعمل بمحرك نفاث اصطدمت بقاطرة قطار مجاور وانفجرت.
وقع الهجوم في محطة ياهودين، بعد وقت قصير من مغادرة قطار دبلوماسي كان يقل رئيس الوزراء البريطاني السابق بوريس جونسون ومستشارين ومسؤولين أوروبيين، فيما قالت شركة السكك الحديدية الأوكرانية إن المسيّرة ربما كانت تستهدف ذلك القطار، الذي غادر المحطة قبل موعده بسبب التهديدات الروسية.
ووصف بتريوس الهجوم بأنه محاولة لترويع المدنيين، مؤكداً عدم وجود مبرر عسكري لاستهداف قطار مدني. وجاءت الضربة في وقت تكثف فيه روسيا هجماتها على شبكة السكك الحديدية والبنية التحتية اللوجستية في أوكرانيا، فيما اتهم الرئيس فولوديمير زيلينسكي موسكو بالسعي إلى شل الاقتصاد وتدمير حياة المدنيين.
U.S. President Donald Trump announced today (Monday) an agreement between Russia and Ukraine to cease attacks on energy facilities.
Trump wrote on his platform "Truth Social": "Ukraine has agreed not to target Russian energy facilities, and Russia has agreed to the same thing!", rejecting the notion that Iran is responsible for rising diesel prices worldwide. Trump stated: "The rise in diesel prices globally is largely due to the Russian-Ukrainian war, not Iran."
This came at a time when the Russian Ministry of Defense stated today that its forces targeted a cargo ship in the port of Odessa, along with railway facilities in western Ukraine used to transport military shipments from European countries to support Kyiv militarily. This was the first confirmation of reports about the targeting of the train carrying former CIA Director, retired General David Petraeus, who survived a drone attack while returning from Ukraine on the train near the Ukrainian-Polish border.
This incident was described as notable, targeting American, British, and European officials. Petraeus said he heard the sounds of Russian drones after crossing the Ukrainian customs point, before he was evacuated along with other passengers, and then he heard a massive explosion. He explained that a Russian drone powered by a jet engine collided with a nearby train locomotive and exploded.
The attack occurred at Yahodyn station shortly after a diplomatic train carrying former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and advisors and European officials had departed. The Ukrainian railway company stated that the drone may have been targeting that train, which left the station earlier than scheduled due to Russian threats.
Petraeus described the attack as an attempt to terrorize civilians, emphasizing that there is no military justification for targeting a civilian train. The strike came at a time when Russia is intensifying its attacks on the railway network and logistical infrastructure in Ukraine, while President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Moscow of seeking to cripple the economy and destroy civilian lives.
