ورغم الإشكاليات القانونية التي أثارها بعض المحامين بشأن غياب نص جزائي صريح في التشريع يجرّم بيع لحم الخنزير تحديداً، إلا أن المحكمة وجهت ضربة حاسمة واستندت في حكمها التاريخي بالسجن 10 سنوات إلى مواد العقوبات المتعلقة بالغش التجاري الجسيم، وإلحاق الضرر العمدي بالصحة العامة، والمساس بالمقدسات والمشاعر المجتمعية.

Details of this nightmare emerged following a precise intelligence operation carried out by a specialized security team, which tracked the suspicious movements of the owner to uncover a terrifying scheme:
- Night Hunting: The butcher would sneak under the cover of darkness to the "Hoor Nahiyat Al-Hurriya" area near the city of Kufa to hunt wild boars himself.
- The Grand Deception: He would return with the secret catch to his shop, where he would slaughter those animals and grind their meat with extreme precision using grinding machines, preparing to present it to customers under the deceitful guise of "fresh local minced meat."
After gathering evidence and tracing the threads, the security forces raided the premises and caught the accused red-handed with quantities of meat and the tools used, leading to the immediate closure of the shop and the apprehension of the butcher for prosecution.
