وزير الداخلية يبحث في لندن مع وزيرة الداخلية البريطانية سُبل تعزيز التعاون

The Minister of Interior, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, met today with the British Home Secretary, Yvette Cooper, in the British capital, London.

During the meeting, a number of topics related to security affairs between the interior ministries of the two friendly countries were discussed.

Following the meeting, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud and the British Home Secretary held a session to explore ways to enhance cooperation between the two ministries.

Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud emphasized that the meeting aims to strengthen security cooperation between the two friendly countries, in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He pointed out the Kingdom's government's keenness to elevate the level of cooperation and work with the United Kingdom in combating organized crime in all its forms, as well as exchanging expertise and experiences between specialists from both sides.

The prince noted the progress being made in the fields of security cooperation between the two countries through the agreements that have been signed, highlighting the importance of continuing to enhance joint security efforts, which contribute to achieving the aspirations of the governments of both countries in security matters.

During the meeting, several topics listed on the agenda were discussed.

After the meeting, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud and the British Home Secretary signed a number of agreements related to future security cooperation between the interior ministries of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom.

Attending the meeting and session were the Assistant Minister of Interior, Dr. Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al-Falih, the Director General of the Minister's Office for Studies and Research, Major General Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Arwan, the Supervisor of International Partnership Programs, Major General Mohammed bin Ali Al-Habdan, the Director General of Legal Affairs and International Cooperation, Ahmed bin Suleiman Al-Essa, and several senior officials from the British Home Office.
