توفي قائد مركز القيادة بالحرس الثوري، علي شادماني اليوم (الأربعاء) متأثراً بجروح لحقت به خلال الغارات الإسرائيلية على إيران الأسبوع الماضي، بحسب وسائل إعلام إيرانية.
وتوعد مركز القيادة للحرس الثوري «برد قاس» على مقتله، جاء ذلك بعد أيام من إعلان جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي نجاحه في اغتيال قائد قيادة «مقر خاتم الأنبياء» في إيران، علي شادماني.
وأشار الاحتلال إلى أن اغتياله تم بناء على معلومات استخباراتية بقصف مقر مأهول في قلب طهران، واصفاً إياه بالقائد العسكري الأرفع في إيران والأقرب إلى المرشد علي خامنئي.
وكان شادماني قد تم تعيينه من قبل المرشد الإيراني ليكون رئيساً جديداً لقيادة مقر «خاتم الأنبياء»، قبل 4 أيام فقط، بعد اغتيال القائد السابق.
ويعد مقرّ «خاتم الأنبياء» للدفاع الجوي واحداً من القوات الأربع التابعة للجيش الإيراني، ويهتم بمراقبة الشؤون الدفاعية البرية للقوة الجوية لجيش إيران، وينسق العمليات العسكرية المشتركة داخل القوات الإيرانية.
من جهة أخرى، أعلن الرئيس الإيراني مسعود بيزشكيان، اليوم استعداد بلاده لتحسين الأوضاع الأمنية وتعزيز السلام والاستقرار في المنطقة.
ونقلت وسائل إعلام إيرانية عن بيزشكيان قوله: «نؤيد منطقة خالية من الأسلحة النووية شرط أن يشمل ذلك إسرائيل».
The commander of the Revolutionary Guard's command center, Ali Shadmani, died today (Wednesday) from injuries sustained during Israeli airstrikes on Iran last week, according to Iranian media.
The Revolutionary Guard's command center vowed a "harsh response" to his killing, coming just days after the Israeli occupation army announced its success in assassinating the commander of the "Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters" in Iran, Ali Shadmani.
The occupation indicated that his assassination was carried out based on intelligence information by bombing a populated headquarters in the heart of Tehran, describing him as the highest military commander in Iran and the closest to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Shadmani had been appointed by the Iranian leader as the new head of the "Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters" just 4 days ago, following the assassination of the previous commander.
The "Khatam al-Anbiya" headquarters for air defense is one of the four forces under the Iranian army, responsible for monitoring the ground defense affairs of the Iranian air force and coordinating joint military operations within the Iranian forces.
On another note, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announced today that his country is ready to improve security conditions and enhance peace and stability in the region.
Iranian media quoted Pezeshkian as saying, "We support a nuclear-free zone provided that it includes Israel."
