في أول مؤتمر صحافي له منذ اندلاع الحرب مع إيران في 28 فبراير الماضي، صعّد رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو لهجته تجاه القيادة الإيرانية، ملوّحاً بشكل ضمني بإمكانية استهداف المرشد الإيراني الجديد مجتبى خامنئي وقادة «حزب الله»، مؤكداً أن الضربات الأمريكية–الإسرائيلية المشتركة غيّرت موازين القوى وألحقت خسائر كبيرة بطهران.
تهديد مبطن لقيادات إيران و«حزب الله»
وجه نتنياهو رسالة تهديد غير مباشرة إلى قيادات إيران و«حزب الله».
وقال رداً على سؤال بشأن المرشد الإيراني الجديد مجتبى خامنئي والأمين العام لـ«حزب الله» نعيم قاسم:
«لن أضمن حياة أي من قادة هذه المنظمة الإرهابية»، مضيفاً أنه لا ينوي الكشف عن تفاصيل الخطط الإسرائيلية المقبلة أو توجيه رسائل محددة بشأن ما تنوي تل أبيب القيام به.
وأكد أن «حزب الله سيدفع ثمناً باهظاً» بعد إطلاقه النار في الثاني من مارس رداً على مقتل المرشد الإيراني السابق علي خامنئي في بداية الحرب.
«إيران لم تعد كما كانت»
وأكد نتنياهو على أن الضربات الجوية المشتركة مع الولايات المتحدة خلال الأسبوعين الماضيين ألحقت أضراراً كبيرة بإيران.
وقال: «إيران لم تعد كما كانت»، مشيراً إلى أن القوات الإسرائيلية «توجه ضربات قوية للحرس الثوري الإيراني وقوات الباسيج في مقارها وحواجزها».
وأضاف أن العمليات العسكرية أسفرت عن مقتل علماء بارزين في قطاع الطاقة النووية الإيراني، مؤكداً أن هدف إسرائيل هو «منع إيران من نقل مشاريعها النووية والباليستية إلى منشآت تحت الأرض».
تحذير للبنان واستمرار استهداف «حزب الله»
وكشف نتنياهو أنه وجّه تحذيراً مباشراً إلى بيروت بضرورة التحرك لكبح «حزب الله»، قائلاً إن إسرائيل ستتولى ذلك بنفسها إذا لم تقم الحكومة اللبنانية بهذه المهمة.
وأوضح أن المواجهة مع الحزب لن تتوقف، وأنه سيواصل استهدافه باعتباره أحد أبرز أذرع إيران في المنطقة.
تنسيق يومي مع ترمب
وأكد رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي أنه يجري محادثات شبه يومية مع الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، موضحاً أن التواصل بينهما يتم «بصراحة وحرية».
وأشار إلى أن العمليات الجارية ضد إيران تهدف إلى «القضاء على التهديد الإيراني وضمان أمن إسرائيل»، معتبراً أن بلاده «تعيش أياماً تاريخية قد تغيّر موازين الشرق الأوسط».
رسالة إلى الشعب الإيراني
وفي رسالة مباشرة إلى الإيرانيين، قال نتنياهو إن إسرائيل «تقف إلى جانب الشعب الإيراني»، مضيفاً أن حكومته تعمل على «تهيئة الظروف التي تسمح للشعب الإيراني بالخروج إلى الشوارع وتغيير النظام».
لكنه شدد على أن قرار إسقاط النظام «يبقى بيد الشعب الإيراني نفسه».
«مفاجآت قادمة»
ورفض نتنياهو الكشف عن طبيعة الضربات المقبلة ضد إيران، مكتفياً بالقول إن العمليات العسكرية مستمرة، وأن «مفاجآت أخرى» قد تظهر في المرحلة القادمة.
كما شدد على أن إسرائيل لن تسمح لطهران بتطوير «تهديدات وجودية» ضدها، مؤكداً أن العمليات الجارية حققت إنجازات وصفها بأنها «قد تغيّر موازين الشرق الأوسط».
In his first press conference since the outbreak of the war with Iran on February 28, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu escalated his rhetoric towards the Iranian leadership, implicitly threatening the possibility of targeting the new Iranian Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, and leaders of "Hezbollah," asserting that the joint American-Israeli strikes have changed the balance of power and inflicted significant losses on Tehran.
Implicit Threat to Iranian and "Hezbollah" Leaders
Netanyahu issued an indirect threat to the leaders of Iran and "Hezbollah."
In response to a question about the new Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei and the Secretary-General of "Hezbollah," Naim Qassem, he said:
“I will not guarantee the life of any of the leaders of this terrorist organization,” adding that he does not intend to reveal details of upcoming Israeli plans or send specific messages regarding what Tel Aviv intends to do.
He confirmed that "Hezbollah will pay a heavy price" after it fired shots on March 2 in response to the killing of former Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei at the beginning of the war.
"Iran is No Longer What It Was"
Netanyahu emphasized that the joint airstrikes with the United States over the past two weeks have caused significant damage to Iran.
He said: “Iran is no longer what it was,” pointing out that Israeli forces "are delivering strong blows to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and Basij forces at their bases and checkpoints."
He added that the military operations have resulted in the deaths of prominent scientists in Iran's nuclear energy sector, asserting that Israel's goal is to "prevent Iran from transferring its nuclear and ballistic projects to underground facilities."
Warning to Lebanon and Continued Targeting of "Hezbollah"
Netanyahu revealed that he issued a direct warning to Beirut about the necessity of acting to rein in "Hezbollah," stating that Israel will take matters into its own hands if the Lebanese government does not carry out this task.
He clarified that the confrontation with the party will not stop, and that he will continue to target it as one of Iran's main arms in the region.
Daily Coordination with Trump
The Israeli Prime Minister confirmed that he has near-daily conversations with U.S. President Donald Trump, explaining that their communication is conducted "openly and freely."
He noted that the ongoing operations against Iran aim to "eliminate the Iranian threat and ensure Israel's security," considering that his country "is living through historic days that may change the balance of the Middle East."
Message to the Iranian People
In a direct message to the Iranians, Netanyahu stated that Israel "stands by the Iranian people," adding that his government is working to "create conditions that allow the Iranian people to take to the streets and change the regime."
However, he stressed that the decision to overthrow the regime "remains in the hands of the Iranian people themselves."
"Surprises Ahead"
Netanyahu refused to disclose the nature of the upcoming strikes against Iran, merely stating that military operations are ongoing and that "other surprises" may emerge in the coming phase.
He also emphasized that Israel will not allow Tehran to develop "existential threats" against it, asserting that the ongoing operations have achieved accomplishments that he described as "capable of changing the balance of the Middle East."
