14 عالماً نووياً إيرانياً على الأقل قُتلوا منذ بدء إسرائيل عمليتها العسكرية «الأسد الصاعد» ضد إيران، بمساندة قوات خاصة تابعة لجهاز استخباراتها «الموساد» التي قادت سلسلة عمليات سرية في عمق إيران، سبقت ضربات (الجمعة).
وأكد مصدران أن بعض هؤلاء العلماء قضوا في تفجيرات بسيارات ملغومة. وبالتزامن، أوضح مصدر إيراني أن إسرائيل لجأت إلى تفجير سيارات مفخخة في طهران، حسبما نقلت وكالة «إرنا». وأشار إلى انفجار 5 عبوات ناسفة (الأحد) في مناطق متفرقة من العاصمة.
وتحدثت صحيفة «معاريف» العبرية بدورها عن عملية اغتيال في طهران، لكنها لم تذكر أي تفاصيل إضافية.
وأوردت هيئة البث العبرية عن مسؤول إسرائيلي نفياً للعملية، مؤكداً أن إسرائيل «لم تقم بتفجير سيارات مفخخة في طهران».
الجيش الإسرائيلي كان قد أعلن سابقاً اغتيال قادة من الصف الأول والثاني من العلماء النووين وهم؛ عالم الهندسة الذرية فريدون عباسي، وخبير الفيزياء محمد مهدي طهرانجي، فضلاً عن عالم الهندسة الكيميائية أكبر مطلب زادة، إضافة إلى خبير هندسة المواد سعيد برجي، وخبير الفيزياء أمير حسن فكهي، والمتخصص في فيزياء المفاعلات النووية عبدالحميد منوشهر، وخبيرَي الهندسة الذرية منصور عسكري، وأحمد رضا ذو الفقاري دارياني، وكذلك العالم الميكانيكي علي باكوايي كتريمي.
وأكدت إسرائيل اغتيال قادة عسكريين أيضاً، فيما أعلنت إيران مقتل رئيس الأركان محمد باقري، فضلاً عن قائد الحرس الثوري حسين سلامي، وقائد القوات الجوفضائية أمير علي حاجي زادة، إضافة إلى 7 قادة بارزين في القوة الجوفضائية.
ومنذ يوم الجمعة الماضي، شنت إسرائيل سلسلة من الغارات على مناطق إيرانية عدة، مستهدفة شتى المواقع العسكرية، فضلاً عن المنشآت النووية، وفي مقدمتها نطنز وفوردو وأصفهان. كما توعدت بتنفيذ المزيد من الهجمات، مؤكدة وجود قائمة كبيرة من الأهداف.
At least 14 Iranian nuclear scientists have been killed since Israel began its military operation "Rising Lion" against Iran, supported by special forces from its intelligence agency "Mossad," which led a series of covert operations deep inside Iran, preceding the strikes on Friday.
Two sources confirmed that some of these scientists died in car bombings. Concurrently, an Iranian source clarified that Israel resorted to detonating explosive-laden cars in Tehran, according to the "IRNA" agency. He pointed to the explosion of 5 bombs on Sunday in various areas of the capital.
The Hebrew newspaper "Maariv" also reported on an assassination operation in Tehran, but did not provide any additional details.
The Hebrew broadcasting authority reported an Israeli official denying the operation, confirming that Israel "did not detonate explosive-laden cars in Tehran."
The Israeli army had previously announced the assassination of first and second-tier leaders among the nuclear scientists, including atomic engineering expert Fereydoun Abbasi, physics expert Mohammad Mahdi Tehranji, as well as chemical engineering scientist Akbar Matlabi Zadeh, in addition to materials engineering expert Saeed Borji, physics expert Amir Hassan Fekhi, nuclear reactor physics specialist Abdolhamid Manoochehri, and atomic engineering experts Mansour Asgari and Ahmad Reza Zolfaghari Dariyani, as well as mechanical engineer Ali Pakvayi Katirimi.
Israel also confirmed the assassination of military leaders, while Iran announced the death of Chief of Staff Mohammad Bagheri, as well as Revolutionary Guard Commander Hossein Salami and Aerospace Force Commander Amir Ali Hajizadeh, in addition to 7 prominent leaders in the Aerospace Force.
Since last Friday, Israel has launched a series of airstrikes on several Iranian areas, targeting various military sites, as well as nuclear facilities, primarily Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan. It has also vowed to carry out more attacks, confirming the existence of a large list of targets.
