بعد تعيين الدكتور كامل إدريس رئيساً للوزراء، يترقب الشارع السوداني إطلاق مشاورات تشكيل حكومة جديدة.
وعين رئيس مجلس السيادة السوداني عبدالفتاح البرهان، اليوم (الإثنين)، كامل الطيب إدريس رئيساً للحكومة بعد شغور المنصب نحو 4 سنوات.
وأصدر البرهان مرسوماً دستورياً بتعيين سلمى عبدالجبار ونوارة أبو محمد محمد طاهر عضوين في مجلس السيادة، ليرتفع أعضاء المجلس إلى 9، كما نصت الوثيقة الدستورية المعدلة في فبراير الماضي.
وحسب مصادر مطلعة، فإن البرهان اختار كامل إدريس لرئاسة الحكومة بعد دراسة عدة أسماء مرشحة.
ومن المتوقع أن يؤدي رئيس الوزراء الجديد اليمين الدستورية (الأربعاء)، وسط توقعات بحل الحكومة، قبل الدخول في مشاورات لتشكيل حكومته بتفويض كامل كما نصت الوثيقة الدستورية المعدلة. وأوضحت المصادر أن قراراً صدر بإنهاء إشراف أعضاء مجلس السيادة على الوزارات، لمنح رئيس الوزراء الجديد كامل الصلاحيات في إدارة الجهاز التنفيذي.
ورجحت مصادر مقربة أن يحتفظ إدريس بوزيري الخارجية عمر صديق والمالية جبريل إبراهيم خلال مرحلة المشاورات لاختيار الوزارة الجديدة.
وكلف البرهان نهاية أبريل الماضي السفير دفع الله الحاج علي وزيراً لشؤون مجلس الوزراء ومكلفاً بتسيير مهمات رئيس الوزراء. وعيّن السفير عمر محمد أحمد صديق وزيراً للخارجية، خلفاً لوزير الخارجية السابق علي يوسف.
وظل منصب رئيس الوزراء شاغراً أكثر من 4 أعوام، إذ كلف البرهان الأمين العام لمجلس الوزراء عثمان حسين وزيراً لشؤون مجلس الوزراء وتسيير مهمات رئيس الوزراء.
After the appointment of Dr. Kamal Idris as Prime Minister, the Sudanese street is anticipating the launch of consultations to form a new government.
The Chairman of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, appointed Kamal al-Tayeb Idris as the head of the government today (Monday) after the position had been vacant for about 4 years.
Al-Burhan issued a constitutional decree appointing Salma Abdul-Jabbar and Nawara Abu Muhammad Muhammad Taher as members of the Sovereignty Council, raising the council's members to 9, as stipulated in the amended constitutional document from last February.
According to informed sources, Al-Burhan chose Kamal Idris to head the government after studying several nominated names.
The new Prime Minister is expected to take the constitutional oath on (Wednesday), amid expectations of dissolving the government before entering into consultations to form his government with full mandate as stipulated in the amended constitutional document. The sources clarified that a decision was made to end the oversight of Sovereignty Council members over the ministries, to grant the new Prime Minister full powers in managing the executive apparatus.
Close sources indicated that Idris is likely to retain Foreign Minister Omar Sidique and Finance Minister Jibril Ibrahim during the consultation phase to select the new ministry.
At the end of April, Al-Burhan appointed Ambassador Dafa Allah Al-Haj Ali as Minister of Cabinet Affairs and tasked him with managing the Prime Minister's duties. He also appointed Ambassador Omar Muhammad Ahmad Sidique as Minister of Foreign Affairs, succeeding former Foreign Minister Ali Youssef.
The position of Prime Minister has been vacant for more than 4 years, as Al-Burhan tasked the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Osman Hussein, as Minister of Cabinet Affairs and to manage the Prime Minister's duties.
