برعاية أمير منطقة عسير رئيس هيئة تطويرها الأمير تركي بن طلال بن عبدالعزيز، نظمت جامعة الملك خالد ممثلةً في وكالة الجامعة للشؤون الإدارية ملتقى «التميز المؤسسي في التعليم الجامعي»، يومي الإثنين والثلاثاء 27 و28 أكتوبر 2025، في مركز المعارض والمؤتمرات بالمدينة الجامعية بالفرعاء.
وشهد الملتقى مشاركة أكثر من 60 جهة من الجامعات السعودية الحكومية والأهلية، والجهات الحكومية، والشركات والمؤسسات من القطاعين الخاص وغير الربحي، في حدث وطني يهدف إلى تعزيز ممارسات التميز المؤسسي ودعم مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 من خلال رفع مستوى التنافسية وتبني أفضل الممارسات في التعليم الجامعي.
وأكدت جامعة الملك خالد أن الملتقى يأتي لإبراز قصص نجاح نوعية في التميز المؤسسي، ونشر ثقافة الابتكار والجودة والتحسين المستمر، وتعزيز الشراكات الأكاديمية والتنظيمية، إلى جانب استشراف التحديات المستقبلية واقتراح الحلول المبتكرة لتطوير بيئة التعليم الجامعي في المملكة.
وتضمّن برنامج الملتقى جلسات علمية متخصصة ناقشت محاور القيادة الجامعية، وكفاءة الإنفاق واستدامة الموارد، وتنمية رأس المال البشري، وجودة الحياة الجامعية، والتحول الرقمي، والسمعة والاتصال المؤسسي، بمشاركة 25 متحدثاً من الخبراء والممارسين في هذا المجال.
ورش عمل تدريبية
كما اشتمل الملتقى على ورش عمل تدريبية استهدفت تطوير مهارات القيادات ومنسوبي الجامعات في مجالات التميز المؤسسي، إلى جانب منصات لتوقيع الاتفاقيات والشراكات الإستراتيجية بين الجامعات والجهات ذات العلاقة، فضلاً عن معارض مصاحبة شاركت فيها الجامعات والقطاعات الحكومية والخاصة لاستعراض تجاربها وإنجازاتها المؤسسية.
وفي هذا السياق، أوضح وكيل الجامعة للشؤون الإدارية الأستاذ الدكتور محمد بن حامد البحيري أن الملتقى يجسد الدور الحيوي للجامعات السعودية كمراكز إشعاع للتميز المؤسسي، وقادرة على بناء الشراكات وتحقيق الاستدامة المالية وتطوير الكفاءات البشرية وتعزيز التحول التقني.
وقال: «يشكل الملتقى ومعارضه وورش العمل المصاحبة منصات ثرية لتبادل الخبرات وإطلاق المبادرات النوعية، ويمثل خطوة عملية نحو ممارسات أكثر إبداعاً وفاعلية، تسهم في تعزيز مكانة الجامعات السعودية إقليمياً ودولياً، بما يواكب طموحات الوطن ورؤيته الطموحة 2030».
Under the patronage of the Emir of Asir Region and Chairman of its Development Authority, Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, King Khalid University, represented by the University Agency for Administrative Affairs, organized the "Institutional Excellence in Higher Education" forum on Monday and Tuesday, October 27 and 28, 2025, at the Exhibition and Conference Center in the university city of Al-Fra'a.
The forum witnessed the participation of more than 60 entities from public and private Saudi universities, government agencies, and companies and institutions from the private and non-profit sectors, in a national event aimed at enhancing practices of institutional excellence and supporting the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 by raising competitiveness and adopting best practices in higher education.
King Khalid University emphasized that the forum aims to highlight qualitative success stories in institutional excellence, promote a culture of innovation, quality, and continuous improvement, and strengthen academic and organizational partnerships, in addition to anticipating future challenges and proposing innovative solutions to develop the higher education environment in the Kingdom.
The forum program included specialized scientific sessions that discussed themes of university leadership, efficiency in spending and sustainability of resources, human capital development, quality of university life, digital transformation, and institutional reputation and communication, with the participation of 25 speakers from experts and practitioners in this field.
Training Workshops
The forum also included training workshops aimed at developing the skills of university leaders and staff in the areas of institutional excellence, along with platforms for signing agreements and strategic partnerships between universities and relevant entities, as well as accompanying exhibitions in which universities and government and private sectors participated to showcase their experiences and institutional achievements.
In this context, the University Agency for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Hamid Al-Buhairi, explained that the forum embodies the vital role of Saudi universities as centers of institutional excellence, capable of building partnerships, achieving financial sustainability, developing human competencies, and enhancing technological transformation.
He stated: "The forum, along with its exhibitions and accompanying workshops, serves as rich platforms for exchanging experiences and launching qualitative initiatives, representing a practical step towards more creative and effective practices that contribute to enhancing the status of Saudi universities regionally and internationally, in line with the aspirations of the nation and its ambitious Vision 2030."
