عبدالعزيز بن سعود يبحث التعاون مع وزير الدفاع المدني والطوارئ الروسي

The Minister of Interior, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, received today in his office in Riyadh the Minister of Civil Defense, Emergency Situations, and Natural Disaster Consequences in the Russian Federation, General Alexander Korinov.

During the reception, ways to enhance cooperation between the two friendly countries in the fields of civil defense, prevention, firefighting, and rescue were discussed, as well as the exchange of experiences in emergency management and disaster response.

The ongoing preparations for the Kingdom to host the World Firefighting and Rescue Championship 2025, which will be held under the supervision of the Ministry of Interior and with wide international participation, including the Russian Federation, were also reviewed.

Attending the reception were the Acting Deputy Minister of Interior, Prince Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Ayaf, the Assistant Minister of Interior, Dr. Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al-Falih, the Governor of the High Commission for Industrial Security, Engineer Ali bin Mohammed Al-Zahrani, the Director General of Civil Defense, Major General Dr. Hamoud bin Suleiman Al-Faraj, the Director General of the Minister's Office for Studies and Research, Major General Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Arwan, and the Director General of Legal Affairs and International Cooperation, Ahmed bin Suleiman Al-Essa.

From the Russian side, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom, Sergei Kozlov, the Deputy Minister of Civil Defense for Emergency Situations and Natural Disaster Consequences, Roman Korinin, and the Deputy Minister of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations for Internal Affairs, General Vyacheslav Butko, attended.
