في إنجاز جديد يضاف إلى سجلها الحافل حصدت جمعية الوداد لرعاية الأيتام جائزة الأميرة نورة للطفولة ضمن مسار المؤسسات في مجال جودة الحياة للطفل والرفاه النفسي، وذلك خلال مؤتمر «الطفولة تزدهر في 2030»، تقديرًا لمبادراتها الريادية التي أسهمت في تعزيز حماية الطفل اليتيم، وتنمية مهاراته من خلال دمجه في بيئة أسرية آمنة ومحفزة للإبداع.
وأعرب رئيس مجلس إدارة جمعية الوداد لرعاية الأيتام محمد بن عبدالرحمن مؤمنة عن اعتزازه بهذا التتويج الذي يعكس مكانة الجمعية الريادية ودورها في تحقيق التمكين النفسي والاجتماعي للأطفال الأيتام، مؤكدًا أن الجائزة تمثل حافزًا لمواصلة العمل وفق أعلى معايير الجودة والاستدامة في تقديم الرعاية للأطفال الأيتام وأسرهم المحتضنة، بما يواكب مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
وأضاف «مؤمنة» أن هذا الإنجاز ما كان ليتحقق لولا دعم حكومتنا الرشيدة حفظهم الله، وبالشراكة الإستراتيجية الفاعلة مع وزارة الموارد البشرية والتنمية الاجتماعية، وبالدعم والتمكين من المركز الوطني لتنمية القطاع غير الربحي، بالإضافة إلى جهود كوادرها المتخصصة، الذين يعملون بروح الفريق الواحد لخدمة الأطفال الأيتام مجهولي الأبوين وأسرهم المحتضنة، وتمكينهم من النمو في بيئة مليئة بالحب والاهتمام والدعم النفسي.
من جانبه عبر الرئيس التنفيذي للجمعية الدكتور ضيف الله بن أحمد النعمي عن فخره بهذا الإنجاز الوطني الذي يعكس التزام الجمعية برسالتها الإنسانية في رعاية الأطفال الأيتام مجهولي الأبوين، وتمكينهم من النمو في بيئة أسرية مستقرة ومحفزة للتميز والابتكار.
وأوضح الدكتور النعمي أن هذا التتويج يأتي امتدادًا لجهود «الوداد» في تعزيز جودة الحياة والرفاه النفسي للأطفال، من خلال دمجهم في بيئة أسرية مستقرة وصحية تساعدهم على النمو والتطور وتمكنهم من فرص التعلم والنجاح، ضمن سعي الجمعية في تحقيق مستهدفات التنمية المستدامة ورؤية المملكة 2030 في بناء طفل متوازن معرفيا ونفسيا واجتماعيا.
ويعد هذا الإنجاز إضافة نوعية إلى سلسلة النجاحات التي حققتها جمعية الوداد خلال الفترة الماضية، وتأكيدًا على ريادتها في تطوير نموذج وطني مستدام لرعاية وتمكين الأطفال الأيتام في المملكة.
وتأتي جائزة الأميرة نورة للطفولة بهدف حماية الطفل في العالم الرقمي، وتعزيز مستهدفات التنمية المستدامة، والاستخدام الأمثل للتقنية والذكاء الاصطناعي في التنمية الشاملة لمهارات الطفل، إضافة إلى تعزيز الرفاه النفسي والنمو المتكامل في بيئات تعليمية تنافسية وجاذبة.
In a new achievement added to its impressive record, the Al-Wedad Association for Orphan Care has won the Princess Nora Award for Childhood in the institutional track for the quality of life for children and psychological well-being, during the conference "Childhood Thrives in 2030," in recognition of its pioneering initiatives that contributed to enhancing the protection of orphaned children and developing their skills by integrating them into a safe and stimulating family environment for creativity.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al-Wedad Association for Orphan Care, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Mo'minah, expressed his pride in this award, which reflects the association's pioneering status and its role in achieving psychological and social empowerment for orphaned children, affirming that the award represents an incentive to continue working according to the highest standards of quality and sustainability in providing care for orphaned children and their foster families, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
Mo'minah added that this achievement would not have been possible without the support of our wise government, may God protect them, and through the effective strategic partnership with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, and with the support and empowerment from the National Center for the Development of the Non-Profit Sector, in addition to the efforts of its specialized staff, who work with a team spirit to serve orphaned children without parents and their foster families, enabling them to grow in an environment filled with love, care, and psychological support.
For his part, the CEO of the association, Dr. Dhayf Allah bin Ahmed Al-Nami, expressed his pride in this national achievement that reflects the association's commitment to its humanitarian message in caring for orphaned children without parents, enabling them to grow in a stable family environment that encourages excellence and innovation.
Dr. Al-Nami explained that this award comes as an extension of Al-Wedad's efforts to enhance the quality of life and psychological well-being for children, by integrating them into a stable and healthy family environment that helps them grow and develop and provides them with opportunities for learning and success, as part of the association's pursuit of achieving sustainable development goals and the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in building a well-balanced child cognitively, psychologically, and socially.
This achievement is a qualitative addition to the series of successes that the Al-Wedad Association has achieved over the past period, and a confirmation of its leadership in developing a sustainable national model for the care and empowerment of orphaned children in the Kingdom.
The Princess Nora Award for Childhood aims to protect children in the digital world, enhance sustainable development goals, and optimize the use of technology and artificial intelligence in the comprehensive development of children's skills, in addition to enhancing psychological well-being and integrated growth in competitive and attractive educational environments.
