كشف رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة العامة للترفيه تركي بن عبدالمحسن آل الشيخ، خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الحكومي الذي عُقد أمس (الأحد) في الرياض، تفاصيل فعاليات موسم الرياض 2025، موضحاً أن النسخة السادسة ستنطلق يوم (الجمعة) القادم (10 أكتوبر) بمسيرة ضخمة عند الرابعة عصراً بجانب «بوليفارد سيتي»، إيذاناً ببدء موسمٍ استثنائي يرسّخ مكانة العاصمة كوجهة عالمية للترفيه.
ورفع آل الشيخ في مستهل المؤتمر الشكر لخادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، ولولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، على دعمهما الكبير لقطاع الترفيه وتمكينه ليكون أحد روافد الاقتصاد الوطني، وركيزةً رئيسية في تحسين جودة الحياة ضمن مستهدفات «رؤية السعودية 2030».
وأكد آل الشيخ أن الموسم الماضي شكّل مرحلة جديدة في نمو صناعة الترفيه، إذ تجاوز عدد الزوار 20 مليون زائر من أكثر من 135 دولة، وسُجلت أكثر من 3,300 زيارة إعلامية دولية، إلى جانب تحقيق 110 مليارات ظهور إعلامي عالمي، ما يعكس الحضور الدولي الواسع للموسم.
وأوضح أن القيمة التقديرية للعلامة التجارية لموسم الرياض بلغت 3.2 مليار دولار (12 مليار ريال)، في تأكيدٍ على النمو الكبير في سمعة الموسم عالمياً، وتحوّله إلى واحدة من أبرز العلامات الترفيهية في الشرق الأوسط والعالم.
وبيّن أن موسم هذا العام سيضم 11 منطقة رئيسية، تشمل 15 بطولة عالمية، و34 معرضاً ومهرجاناً، بمشاركة أكثر من 2100 شركة، منها 95% محلية، عبر 4200 عقد أُبرمت مع القطاع الخاص، بما يعكس تمكين الكفاءات الوطنية وتعزيز دور القطاع الخاص في دعم الاقتصاد.
وأشار إلى أن الموسم سيحتضن فعاليات عالمية كبرى، من أبرزها مؤتمر «جوي فوروم» الذي يُقام يومي 16 و17 أكتوبر في بوليفارد سيتي، بمشاركة شخصيات عالمية مثل صانع المحتوى الأمريكي مستر بيست، ورئيس منظمة UFC دانا وايت، وأسطورة السلة شاكيل أونيل، والممثل الهندي عامر خان، وغيرهم.
وكشف آل الشيخ شراكات عالمية جديدة، أبرزها إطلاق منطقة «بيست لاند» بالتعاون مع مستر بيست، على مساحة 200 ألف متر مربع، تضم 27 لعبة وتجربة، و40 مطعماً ومتجراً، في تجربة هي الأولى من نوعها عالمياً.
كما أعلن استضافة الحدث العالمي «رويال رامبل» للمصارعة الحرة لأول مرة خارج أمريكا الشمالية، مؤكّداً أن ذلك يعزّز موقع السعودية كوجهة دولية للأحداث الكبرى.
وأشار إلى تطوير منطقة بوليفارد وورلد بمحتوى موسّع يضم 1600 متجر، و350 مطعماً ومقهى، و40 لعبة وتجربة، و24 منطقة فرعية بينها 3 جديدة: الكويت، كوريا الجنوبية، وإندونيسيا.
وأوضح أن «بوليفارد سيتي» ستشهد بطولات رياضية عالمية مثل Power Slap، وThe Ring، وP1 Padel، وMasters Archery، إضافة إلى 20 حفلة غنائية، و14 مسرحية جديدة، وتجارب مبتكرة مثل «ماين كرافت» و«بوبي بلاي تايم». وبيّن أن الموسم سيقدّم تجربة «فلاينج أوفر السعودية» التي تتيح للزوّار جولة تفاعلية تحلّق فوق أبرز معالم المملكة، ومعرض «سنيكر كون»، إضافة إلى معرض السيارات في «المملكة أرينا» مع جوائز تشمل 50 سيارة للجمهور. كما تستمر فعاليات «أنا عربية» في «فيا رياض»، ومنطقة «ذا جروفز» بمطاعمها الراقية ومتاجرها الفاخرة.
200 مليون زهرة
في الجانب الفني، أشار آل الشيخ إلى أن الموسم يواصل احتضان جوائز صنّاع الترفيه (Joy Awards) للعام 2026، التي تكرّم أبرز المبدعين في مجالات الفن والدراما والموسيقى، كما يشهد الموسم بطولات عالمية مثل «Six Kings Slam» للتنس، و«Ring IV» للملاكمة، و«WBC Grand Prix»، إضافة إلى مباراة كرة القدم الأمريكية بمشاركة الأسطورة توم برادي في مارس 2026.
وكشف آل الشيخ إطلاق منطقة «بوليفارد فلاورز» التي تمتد على مساحة 215 ألف متر مربع، وتضم 200 مليون زهرة، و200 مجسم زهري، و3 طائرات من طراز بوينج 777، بجانب 40 مطعماً ومقهى. كما أعلن أول منطقة بحرية متحركة في تاريخ الموسم تحت اسم «أوريا كروز»، التي تقدّم تجربة ترفيهية فاخرة في البحر الأحمر تشمل 14 وجهة، و29 مطعماً، و20 منطقة ترفيهية.
1600 حيوان من 1600 فصيلة
وفي جانب العائلة والمجتمع، أوضح آل الشيخ أن الموسم طور حديقة الحيوانات بالرياض لتضم أكثر من 1600 حيوان من 170 فصيلة، وفعاليات حديقة السويدي التي تستضيف 13 ثقافة عالمية عبر 49 حفلة، و84 عرضاً مسرحياً، و100 كرنفال.
وبيّن أن الموسم سيوفر أكثر من 25 ألف وظيفة مباشرة، و100 ألف وظيفة غير مباشرة في مجالات التنظيم والتشغيل والإنتاج والخدمات، استمراراً لجهوده في تمكين الكفاءات الوطنية وتعزيز سلاسل الإمداد المحلية.
واختتم آل الشيخ بالتأكيد على أن موسم الرياض 2025 سيكون علامة فارقة في تاريخ صناعة الترفيه في المنطقة والعالم، قائلاً: «الرياض اليوم أصبحت عنواناً للعصر الجديد للترفيه ومحط أنظار صُنّاع الفنون والإبداع في العالم».
The Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, Turki bin Abdul Mohsen Al Sheikh, revealed during the government press conference held yesterday (Sunday) in Riyadh, the details of the Riyadh Season 2025 events, explaining that the sixth edition will kick off next (Friday) (October 10) with a massive parade at 4 PM next to "Boulevard City," marking the start of an exceptional season that solidifies the capital's position as a global entertainment destination.
Al Sheikh began the conference by thanking the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, for their significant support for the entertainment sector and enabling it to be one of the tributaries of the national economy, and a key pillar in improving the quality of life within the objectives of "Saudi Vision 2030."
Al Sheikh confirmed that the last season represented a new phase in the growth of the entertainment industry, as the number of visitors exceeded 20 million from more than 135 countries, with over 3,300 international media visits recorded, alongside achieving 110 billion global media impressions, reflecting the wide international presence of the season.
He explained that the estimated value of the Riyadh Season brand reached $3.2 billion (12 billion riyals), confirming the significant growth in the season's global reputation and its transformation into one of the most prominent entertainment brands in the Middle East and the world.
He indicated that this year's season will include 11 main areas, featuring 15 international championships, and 34 exhibitions and festivals, with the participation of more than 2,100 companies, 95% of which are local, through 4,200 contracts concluded with the private sector, reflecting the empowerment of national competencies and enhancing the role of the private sector in supporting the economy.
He pointed out that the season will host major global events, most notably the "Joy Forum" conference, which will take place on October 16 and 17 at Boulevard City, featuring global figures such as American content creator Mr. Beast, UFC President Dana White, basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal, Indian actor Aamir Khan, and others.
Al Sheikh revealed new global partnerships, most notably the launch of the "Beast Land" area in collaboration with Mr. Beast, covering an area of 200,000 square meters, featuring 27 games and experiences, and 40 restaurants and shops, in a first-of-its-kind experience globally.
He also announced the hosting of the global event "Royal Rumble" for professional wrestling for the first time outside North America, confirming that this enhances Saudi Arabia's position as an international destination for major events.
He noted the development of the Boulevard World area with expanded content that includes 1,600 stores, 350 restaurants and cafes, 40 games and experiences, and 24 sub-areas, including 3 new ones: Kuwait, South Korea, and Indonesia.
He explained that "Boulevard City" will witness global sports championships such as Power Slap, The Ring, P1 Padel, and Masters Archery, in addition to 20 concerts, 14 new theatrical performances, and innovative experiences like "Minecraft" and "Poppy Playtime." He indicated that the season will offer the "Flying Over Saudi Arabia" experience, allowing visitors an interactive tour flying over the kingdom's most prominent landmarks, and the "Sneaker Con" exhibition, in addition to a car exhibition at the "Kingdom Arena" with prizes including 50 cars for the audience. The "I Am Arab" events will continue in "Via Riyadh," along with "The Groves" area featuring its upscale restaurants and luxury shops.
200 Million Flowers
In the artistic aspect, Al Sheikh mentioned that the season continues to host the Joy Awards for the year 2026, which honors the most prominent creators in the fields of art, drama, and music. The season also features global championships such as the "Six Kings Slam" for tennis, "Ring IV" for boxing, and "WBC Grand Prix," in addition to an American football match featuring the legend Tom Brady in March 2026.
Al Sheikh revealed the launch of the "Boulevard Flowers" area, which spans 215,000 square meters and includes 200 million flowers, 200 floral sculptures, and 3 Boeing 777 aircraft, alongside 40 restaurants and cafes. He also announced the first-ever floating marine area in the season's history called "Auria Cruise," which offers a luxurious entertainment experience in the Red Sea, including 14 destinations, 29 restaurants, and 20 entertainment areas.
1,600 Animals from 1,600 Species
In terms of family and community, Al Sheikh clarified that the season has developed the Riyadh Zoo to include more than 1,600 animals from 170 species, and activities at Al Suwaidi Park that hosts 13 global cultures through 49 concerts, 84 theatrical performances, and 100 carnivals.
He indicated that the season will provide more than 25,000 direct jobs and 100,000 indirect jobs in areas such as organization, operation, production, and services, continuing his efforts to empower national competencies and enhance local supply chains.
Al Sheikh concluded by affirming that Riyadh Season 2025 will be a landmark in the history of the entertainment industry in the region and the world, stating: "Riyadh today has become a symbol of the new era of entertainment and a focal point for creators of arts and creativity worldwide."
