Saudi Arabia continues to exert efforts to establish security and stability in the region, drawing on its religious standing, military prestige, economic power, and social and cultural value; to resolve all contentious issues, for the benefit of the peoples, and to achieve prosperity and a dignified life, away from the ravages of wars and conflicts.
The observer notes the movement of Saudi diplomacy in all directions, in coordination with friends and allies, to find suitable peaceful solutions to many of the region's wars, foremost among them the Iranian-American crisis, and to try to spare the region a military confrontation that could throw Iran and the future of its people into uncertainty.
Saudi Arabia, along with its allied and friendly countries, seeks to convince Iran to abandon its nuclear program, ballistic missiles, and its terrorist arms in several Arab countries, to prepare the ground for a settlement that would halt military confrontations that would cast shadows over the region and the world, especially concerning the economy and oil prices amid claims from each side of controlling navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
Saudi Arabia does not expect thanks from any party in the current crises in the region, as it sees this as a duty dictated by its position as a leader of the Arab and Islamic nations and its international weight, along with the trust it enjoys from influential and active countries in resolving the complex issues that the region and the world suffer from.
