حقق المنتخب السعودي للمعلوماتية (6) جوائز دولية في أولمبياد المعلوماتية لدول البلقان (BOI 2025) في نسخته الـ32، الذي استضافته مدينة أوديني الإيطالية خلال الفترة من 25 سبتمبر إلى 1 أكتوبر 2025، بمشاركة (65) طالبا وطالبة يمثلون (17) دولة.
وتوزعت الجوائز على (4) ميداليات برونزية حققها الطالب محمد ناصر الأسمري من تعليم الهيئة الملكية بالجبيل، وسلطان عبدالرحمن العيبان من تعليم الرياض، وسعد بندر العريفي من تعليم الرياض، وفارس ياسر الردادي من تعليم المدينة المنورة، إضافة إلى شهادتي تقدير حصل عليهما هشام علي الشهري من تعليم الشرقية، والمنذر سعيد الغامدي من تعليم الباحة.
وتُعد هذه المشاركة الثالثة للمملكة في أولمبياد المعلوماتية للبلقان، التي تأتي ضمن برنامج موهبة للأولمبيادات الدولية، الذي تنفذه مؤسسة الملك عبدالعزيز ورجاله للموهبة والإبداع «موهبة» بالشراكة الإستراتيجية مع وزارة التعليم، من خلال برامج تدريبية نوعية يشرف عليها خبراء محليون ودوليون.
وكان المنتخب السعودي قد حقق في مشاركاته السابقة (7) جوائز دولية، توزعت على ميداليتين برونزيتين و(5) شهادات تقدير، ليصل إجمالي حصاد المملكة في هذه المسابقة إلى (13) جائزة دولية، منها (6) ميداليات برونزية و(7) شهادات تقدير.
ويُعد أولمبياد المعلوماتية للبلقان من أبرز المنافسات الإقليمية السنوية في مجال البرمجة، إذ يتنافس المشاركون في حل مسائل خوارزمية معقدة ضمن بيئة اختبارية دقيقة، على مدى يومين متواصلين.
The Saudi Informatics team achieved (6) international awards at the Balkan Olympiad in Informatics (BOI 2025) in its 32nd edition, which was hosted in the Italian city of Udine from September 25 to October 1, 2025, with the participation of (65) students representing (17) countries.
The awards were distributed among (4) bronze medals won by students Mohammed Nasser Al-Asmeri from the Royal Commission for Jubail Education, Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Aiban from Riyadh Education, Saad Bandar Al-Areifi from Riyadh Education, and Fares Yasser Al-Raddadi from Medina Education, in addition to two certificates of appreciation received by Hisham Ali Al-Shahri from Eastern Province Education, and Al-Mundhir Saeed Al-Ghamdi from Al-Baha Education.
This is the third participation for the Kingdom in the Balkan Olympiad in Informatics, which is part of the Talent Program for international Olympiads, implemented by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Talent and Creativity "Mawhiba" in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Education, through specialized training programs supervised by local and international experts.
The Saudi team had previously achieved (7) international awards in its past participations, which included two bronze medals and (5) certificates of appreciation, bringing the total number of awards for the Kingdom in this competition to (13) international awards, including (6) bronze medals and (7) certificates of appreciation.
The Balkan Olympiad in Informatics is considered one of the most prominent annual regional competitions in the field of programming, where participants compete to solve complex algorithmic problems in a precise testing environment over two continuous days.
