أعلنت المملكة العربية السعودية ممثلة في الصندوق السعودي للتنمية، ودولة قطر ممثلة في صندوق قطر للتنمية، تقديم دعمٍ ماليٍ مشتركٍ بقيمة إجمالية تبلغ 89 مليون دولار أمريكي، للمساهمة في دعم العاملين بالقطاع العام في الجمهورية العربية السورية لمدة ثلاثة أشهر؛ وذلك لضمان استمرار تقديم الخدمات الأساسية للشعب السوري الشقيق وتعزيز مخصصات الميزانية.
ويهدف الدعم المالي المشترك إلى تعزيز فرص وسبل العيش المستدامة والتعافي الاقتصادي الشامل، وذلك بالتنسيق مع برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي لتنفيذ مشروع الدعم وتعزيز جهود الاستدامة، وتقوية النظم وشمولية القطاع المالي، والسعي للوصول إلى التنمية المستدامة في سورية.
مما يذكر أن هذا الدعم سيسهم في تحقيق الأهداف الطموحة في المسيرة التنموية، كما يشكّل أهمية بالغة في دعم نمو الفرص الحيوية لسورية وشعبها، ويجسّد التعاون التنموي والتضامن الدوليين لتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة، للإسهام في تعزيز النمو الاجتماعي والازدهار الاقتصادي في سورية الشقيقة.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Saudi Fund for Development, and the State of Qatar, represented by the Qatar Fund for Development, announced a joint financial support of a total value of 89 million US dollars to contribute to supporting public sector workers in the Syrian Arab Republic for a period of three months; this is to ensure the continued provision of essential services to the brotherly Syrian people and to enhance budget allocations.
The joint financial support aims to enhance sustainable livelihood opportunities and comprehensive economic recovery, in coordination with the United Nations Development Programme to implement the support project and strengthen sustainability efforts, bolster systems and inclusivity in the financial sector, and strive to achieve sustainable development in Syria.
It is worth noting that this support will contribute to achieving ambitious goals in the developmental journey, and it holds significant importance in supporting the growth of vital opportunities for Syria and its people, embodying developmental cooperation and international solidarity to achieve sustainable development goals, contributing to enhancing social growth and economic prosperity in the brotherly Syria.
