نبّه المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريرٍ، اليوم (الإثنين)، من أتربة مُثارة ورياح نشطة على العاصمة المقدسة، تؤدي إلى شبه انعدام في مدى الرؤية الأفقية (3 - 1) كم، وتستمر الحالة حتى الساعة الـ7:00 مساءً كما نبّه عن الحالة ذاتها في محافظة الجموم حتى الساعة الـ7:00 مساءً.
وتوقّع المركز استمرار هطول أمطار رعدية متوسطة إلى غزيرة تؤدي إلى جريان السيول، مصحوبة بزخات من البرد على أجزاء من مناطق الحدود الشمالية، والشرقية، والرياض، والقصيم، وحائل، والمدينة المنورة، ومكة المكرمة، في حين تؤثر الرياح النشطة المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من تلك المناطق، كذلك على أجزاء من منطقتي الجوف وتبوك، ولا يستبعد تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة على أجزاء من مناطق الباحة، وعسير وجازان خصوصاً الشرقية منها.
وفي جازان هطلت الليلة الماضية أمطارٌ غزيرةٌ شملت محافظة الدائر بني مالك، وعدداً من المراكز والقرى التابعة لها. وهطلت اليوم أمطارٌ خفيفةٌ على أجزاءٍ متفرقة من المدينة المنورة، ولا تزال السماء ملبدةً بالغيوم، مع تهيؤ الفرصة لهطول مزيدٍ من الأمطار.
وفي حائل نبّه «الأرصاد» من هطول أمطار غزيرة على منطقة حائل، مصحوبة برياح شديدة السرعة، وجريان السيول، وصواعق رعدية، تشمل المناطق المفتوحة والطرق السريعة، وتؤدي إلى تدنٍّ في مدى الرؤية الأفقية وبيَّن أن الحالة ستستمر حتى الساعة الـ9:00 مساءً.
The National Center of Meteorology warned in a report today (Monday) of raised dust and active winds in the holy capital, leading to almost zero visibility (3 - 1) km, and this condition will continue until 7:00 PM. The same warning was issued for the Al-Jamum governorate until 7:00 PM.
The center anticipated continued rainfall of moderate to heavy thunderstorms leading to flash floods, accompanied by hail showers in parts of the Northern Borders, Eastern, Riyadh, Qassim, Hail, Medina, and Mecca regions. Active winds stirring dust and sand will also affect parts of those areas, as well as parts of the Al-Jawf and Tabuk regions. The formation of thunderstorm clouds with rain is not ruled out in parts of the Al-Baha, Asir, and Jazan regions, especially the eastern parts.
In Jazan, heavy rains fell last night, covering the Al-Dayer Bani Malik governorate and several of its affiliated centers and villages. Today, light rains fell in scattered areas of Medina, and the sky remains overcast, with the possibility of more rainfall.
In Hail, the meteorological authority warned of heavy rains in the Hail region, accompanied by very strong winds, flash floods, and thunderstorms, affecting open areas and highways, leading to reduced horizontal visibility. It was indicated that this condition will continue until 9:00 PM.
