شارك وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله، في اجتماع «اليوم التالي في غزة وجهود تحقيق الاستقرار» بدعوة من الرئيس الفرنسي، وذلك على هامش أعمال الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة في دورتها الـ80.
وناقش الاجتماع الأوضاع الحالية في قطاع غزة، وتأكيد ضرورة الوقف الفوري للحرب، ودعم السلطة الفلسطينية لإدارة قطاع غزة وربطها بالضفة الغربية، ورفض جميع محاولات الضم والتهجير، وإرسال قوات دولية لحماية الشعب الفلسطيني؛ بناءً على طلب الرئيس الفلسطيني لإعادة الاستقرار ودعم إعادة الإعمار، وضمان استقرار سكانه وسلامتهم، وتأمين التعافي الاجتماعي والاقتصادي.
حضر الاجتماع مستشار وزير الخارجية للشؤون السياسية الأمير مصعب بن محمد الفرحان، والوزير المفوض بوزارة الخارجية الدكتورة منال رضوان.
Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah participated in the meeting titled "The Next Day in Gaza and Efforts for Stability," at the invitation of the French President, on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The meeting discussed the current situation in the Gaza Strip, emphasizing the urgent need for an immediate ceasefire, supporting the Palestinian Authority in managing the Gaza Strip and linking it to the West Bank, rejecting all attempts at annexation and displacement, and sending international forces to protect the Palestinian people; based on the request of the Palestinian President to restore stability and support reconstruction, ensuring the stability and safety of its residents, and securing social and economic recovery.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs' Political Affairs Advisor, Prince Musab bin Mohammed Al Farhan, and the Minister Plenipotentiary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Manal Radwan.
