يُشكّل أحد مواقع «اليوتيرن» على الطريق العام في بلّسمر خطراً بالغاً على سالكيه، بعد أن تحوّل إلى نقطة سوداء تتكرر عندها الحوادث المروّعة، كان آخرها الحادث المأساوي الأليم مساء أمس، الذي راح ضحيته أربعة من الشباب ما زالوا في ريعان أعمارهم.
ويؤكد أهالي بلّسمر وبلّحمر أن اختيار موقع هذا «اليوتيرن» جاء سيئاً للغاية، إذ وُضع في منحنى خطر يجعل القادم من جهة أبها باتجاه بلّسمر لا يرى السيارة الملتفة من عنده إلا عند اقترابها بشكل مباشر، ما يتسبب في وقوع الكوارث المرورية. ويزيد من خطورته وجود بعض الأشجار التي تحجب الرؤية عن السائقين سواءً للراغبين في الالتفاف أو للقادمين من مسافات بعيدة بسرعة عالية، الأمر الذي جعل منه مصيدة حقيقية للأرواح.
وفي مشهد مؤلم يعكس حجم الكارثة، لم يكد أهالي بلّسمر وبلّحمر يفرغون من دفن أربعة شباب في عمر الزهور قضوا جراء هذه الحوادث المأساوية، حتى علت أصواتهم مجدداً تطالب بسرعة التدخل.
الأهالي طالبوا بوقفة جادة من البلدية والمرور، مؤكدين أن المسؤولية مشتركة، والواجب يفرض اتخاذ إجراء سريع وحاسم، بضرورة إغلاق «اليوتيرن» نهائياً أو وضع مطبات تهدئة بمسافة كافية لتخفيف السرعة وترك مجال أكثر أماناً للعودة مع الشارع الآخر، وأن أي تأخير في التدخل قد يعني تكرار المآسي المرورية وفقدان مزيد من الأرواح.

The residents of Balsamer and Balhamr confirm that the choice of this "U-turn" location was extremely poor, as it is situated on a dangerous curve that prevents those coming from the direction of Abha towards Balsamer from seeing the car making the turn until it is almost directly upon them, leading to traffic disasters. The presence of some trees that obstruct the view for drivers, whether those wishing to turn or those coming from long distances at high speeds, further increases its danger, making it a real trap for lives.
In a painful scene reflecting the magnitude of the disaster, the residents of Balsamer and Balhamr had barely finished burying four young men in the bloom of their youth who perished due to these tragic accidents, when their voices rose again demanding urgent intervention.
The residents called for serious action from the municipality and traffic authorities, emphasizing that the responsibility is shared, and the duty requires taking swift and decisive action, either by permanently closing the "U-turn" or by installing speed bumps at a sufficient distance to reduce speed and provide a safer space for returning to the other road. They warned that any delay in intervention could mean a repetition of traffic tragedies and the loss of more lives.
