وزراء دفاع الخليج: تكثيف وربط الأنظمة الدفاعية لمواجهة كافة المخاطر والتحديات

On behalf of the Minister of Defense, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Minister of Defense, Prince Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Ayaf, headed the Kingdom's delegation participating in the extraordinary session of the Joint Defense Council of the Ministers of Defense of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, held in the Qatari capital, Doha, with the participation of the defense ministers of the council countries and the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi.

During the meeting, issues and topics related to the Israeli aggression and the blatant violation of the sovereignty and integrity of the State of Qatar, as well as the threats to its security and stability, were discussed.

Addressing Threats

The ministers agreed to continue working, coordinating, and consulting at all military and intelligence levels to complete the enhancement of Gulf defense integration, and to work on intensifying and linking defense systems to confront all risks and challenges, ensuring the security, stability, and safety of all Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and addressing any potential threats or aggressions that threaten the stability of the region.
