شهدت جامعة الإمام عبدالرحمن بن فيصل أمس (الأربعاء) انتخابات الجمعيّة العلميّة السُّعودية لطبِّ الأسرة والمجتمع لانتخاب مجلس إدارة الجمعيّة في دورتها الجديدة، وقامت اللجنة الدّائمة لانتخابات الجمعيّات العلميّة بإجراء الانتخابات تحت إشراف وحدة الكراسي والجمعيّات العلميّة التابعة لوكالة الجامعة للبحث العلمي والابتكار بالجامعة وانتهت إلى انتخاب أعضاء مجلس الإدارة الجديد وعددهم 14 عضواً منهم 9 رئيسيين، و5 أعضاء في الاحتياط.
وأوضح رئيس الجامعة الأستاذ الدكتور فهد بن أحمد الحربي بأنّ الجامعة تسعى؛ لأنْ تكون الجمعيّاتُ العلميّةُ من الرّوافِدِ الدّاعمةِ لتحقيقِ الأهدافِ السَّامِيَةِ للرؤيةِ الوطنيّةِ الطّموحَةِ 2030، وَصَرْحاً من صُرُوحِ البِناءِ؛ ولذا كانت في سُلَّمِ اهتماماتِ الجامعة وأدلّ دلالة على ذلك أنها جعلت لها وَحْدةً قَائِمةً بِذاتِهَا لترْعَى شؤونَهَا، وأصدرت لها لائحةً تنظّم العمليّةَ الانتخابيّةَ فيها، بجانبِ القواعدِ الإجرائيّةِ التي سترَى النّورَ قريباً والإشادة بما تمّ من إنجاز في مجال الجمعيّات العلميّة، متمنيّاً للجمعيّة في دورتها الجديدة كُلَّ تقدُّمٍ وازدهار، ونوّه إلى أنّ الجامعة في خطتها القادمة ستجعل الجمعيّات في سُلّم أولوياتها لتحقيق الدور المرجو منها.
من جانبه ذكر الأستاذ الدكتور جمال نور الدين إدريس مدير وحدة الكراسي والجمعيّات العلميّة بالجامعة - رئيس اللجنة الدائمة لانتخابات الجمعيّات العلميّة بالجامعة، بأن الجامعة تطمحُ في خُطَتِهَا المُستقبليّةِ أنْ تكُونَ الجمعيّاتُ العلميّةُ حاضنةً علميّة وبحثيّةً؛ يَلْتقِي فيهَا أهْلُ التّخصُّصِ؛ لتبادلِ الأفكارِ والرُؤَى حولَ تطبيقِ أهدافِهَا ورؤاهَا في خِدمَةِ التخصُّصِ، والمجْتَمعِ.
وأشادت الدكتورة ملاك الشمري رئيسة الجمعيّة في خطاب الدّورة الذي قدمته أمام أعضاء الجمعيّة بالجهود الكبيرة التي بذلتها الجمعيّة طوال الفترة السّابقة حتى وصلت إلى ما وصلت إليه من النّجاح، الأمر الذي جعلها من الجمعيّات التي يُشار إليها بالبنان على مستوى المملكة العربية السُّعوديّة والعالم، واستعرضت بعض النّجاحات والمكاسب التي حققتها الجمعيّة، وتمنّت للمنتخبين في مجلس إدارتها الجديد كُلّ توفيق ونجاح.
Yesterday (Wednesday), Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University witnessed the elections of the Saudi Scientific Association for Family and Community Medicine to elect the new board of directors for the association. The Permanent Committee for Scientific Associations Elections conducted the elections under the supervision of the Chairs and Scientific Associations Unit affiliated with the University Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation. The elections resulted in the election of 14 new board members, including 9 primary members and 5 alternate members.
The university president, Professor Fahd bin Ahmed Al-Harbi, stated that the university aims for scientific associations to be a supportive resource for achieving the noble goals of the ambitious National Vision 2030, and a pillar of construction. This is why it has been a priority for the university, evidenced by the establishment of a dedicated unit to oversee its affairs, and the issuance of a regulation to organize the electoral process within it, alongside procedural rules that will see the light soon, and commendation for the achievements made in the field of scientific associations. He wished the association all progress and prosperity in its new term and noted that in its upcoming plan, the university will prioritize associations to fulfill the expected role from them.
For his part, Professor Jamal Nour Al-Din Idris, Director of the Chairs and Scientific Associations Unit at the university and head of the Permanent Committee for Scientific Associations Elections, mentioned that the university aspires in its future plan for scientific associations to be a scientific and research incubator where specialists meet to exchange ideas and visions on applying its goals and visions in service of the specialization and the community.
Dr. Malak Al-Shammari, president of the association, praised in her address to the members of the association the significant efforts made by the association throughout the previous period, which led to its current success, making it one of the associations recognized at both the level of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the world. She reviewed some of the successes and achievements that the association has accomplished and wished the newly elected board members all success and achievement.
