توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس اليوم هطول أمطار رعدية متوسطة إلى غزيرة تؤدي إلى جريان السيول مصحوبة بزخات من البرد ورياح نشطة على منطقتي جازان وعسير، في حين تكون خفيفة إلى متوسطة على مناطق نجران، الباحة، مكة المكرمة، ولا يستبعد تكوّن الضباب على أجزاء من مرتفعات تلك المناطق, كذلك على الأجزاء الساحلية من مناطق الشرقية، المدينة المنورة، تبوك، كما يستمر تأثير الرياح النشطة المثيرة للأتربة والغبار تصل إلى شبه انعدام في مدى الرؤية الأفقية على الطريق الساحلي الواصل إلى جازان.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن حركة الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر شمالية غربية إلى شمالية شرقية بسرعة 10 - 32 كم/ساعة على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط, وغربية إلى شمالية غربية بسرعة 12 - 42كم/ساعة تصل إلى 55 كم/ساعة مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية على الجزء الجنوبي, وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط, ومن المتر إلى مترين يصل إلى مترين ونصف مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي، وحالة البحر خفيف الموج على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط, ومتوسط الموج يصل إلى مائج مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي.
وتكون حركة الرياح السطحية على الخليج العربي جنوبية غربية إلى جنوبية شرقية بسرعة 10 - 25 كم/ساعة على الجزء الشمالي, وجنوبية شرقية إلى شمالية شرقية بسرعة 12 - 35 كم/ساعة على الجزء الأوسط والجنوبي، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر على الجزء الشمالي ومن نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف على الجزء الأوسط والجنوبي, وحالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج.
The National Center of Meteorology expected in its weather report today the occurrence of moderate to heavy thunderstorms leading to flash floods, accompanied by hail showers and active winds in the regions of Jazan and Asir, while the rain will be light to moderate in the regions of Najran, Al-Baha, and Makkah. The formation of fog is also not ruled out in parts of the highlands of those regions, as well as in the coastal areas of the Eastern Province, Madinah, and Tabuk. The impact of active winds stirring up dust and sand will continue, reaching near-zero visibility on the coastal road leading to Jazan.
The report indicated that the surface wind movement over the Red Sea is northwesterly to northeasterly at a speed of 10 - 32 km/h in the northern and central parts, and westerly to northwesterly at a speed of 12 - 42 km/h, reaching 55 km/h with the formation of thunderclouds in the southern part. The wave height ranges from half a meter to one meter in the northern and central parts, and from one meter to two meters, reaching two and a half meters with the formation of rainy thunderclouds in the southern part. The sea condition is slight in the northern and central parts, and moderate to rough with the formation of rainy thunderclouds in the southern part.
The surface wind movement over the Arabian Gulf is southwesterly to southeasterly at a speed of 10 - 25 km/h in the northern part, and southeasterly to northeasterly at a speed of 12 - 35 km/h in the central and southern parts. The wave height ranges from half a meter to one meter in the northern part and from half a meter to one and a half meters in the central and southern parts. The sea condition is slight to moderate.
