حقائب تجذب الطلاب

The eyes cannot miss the scenes of families and their children as they wander between the shelves of libraries and stationery shops, choosing new notebooks, pens, and bags in preparation for the school year.
In this atmosphere, the joy of students starting a new phase mixes with parents' eagerness to acquire supplies at reasonable prices, amidst the offers launched by libraries and shopping centers.
During a tour by "Okaz," prices were observed for 60-sheet notebooks at 1.75 riyals, and boxes of ink pens (12 pens) at 3 riyals, while the prices of pencils (12 pieces) ranged between 4 and 13 riyals, and the prices of backpacks ranged between 30 and 100 riyals, depending on the type and quality.
National Products Compete
Several sales officials indicated that the offers included various tools needed by students at all educational stages, such as bags, notebooks, pens, and coloring supplies, at lower prices compared to previous years. There was also a noticeable increase in the presence of national products bearing the "Made in Saudi Arabia" logo, giving them a greater opportunity to compete in the future if they maintain quality and reasonable prices. Local notebooks emerged as the most sought-after items, with an 80-sheet high-quality notebook for university students sold at 12 riyals, while a bundle of 12 notebooks (60 sheets) is sold for 14 riyals.
Bags That Attract Students
The markets witnessed a significant variety of imported school bags featuring images of famous cartoon characters like "SpongeBob," "Batman," and "Spider-Man," in addition to locally made bags adorned with pictures of football stars, which contributes to boosting sales, especially among students in advanced stages.
Shoppers confirmed to "Okaz" that they prefer to buy supplies early to avoid the expected crowds in the coming days, noting that prices are within everyone's reach, with variations between types and quality.
They also advised parents to stick to the essentials that students need throughout the school year and to avoid expensive luxuries.
At the end of its tour, "Okaz" observed a vibrant atmosphere among children as they chose the colors of their notebooks and new bags, in a scene that reflects families' psychological and material readiness for a new educational phase, carrying hopes and aspirations for a successful school year.
