كرم أمير المنطقة الشرقية الأمير سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز، بديوان الإمارة اليوم (الاثنين)، الجهات المشاركة في المعرض التوعوي بأضرار المخدرات، الذي نظمته جمعية الدعوة والإرشاد وتوعية الجاليات (بصيرة)، بالتعاون مع مجمع إرادة للصحة النفسية بالدمام، بمشاركة 14 جهة حكومية.
وألقى رئيس مجلس إدارة جمعية بصيرة بسجون المنطقة الشرقية المهندس حامد العرفج كلمةً أوضح فيها أن الجمعية جعلت من ضمن برامجها الرئيسية المساهمة مع الجهات ذات العلاقة في توعية الشباب والمجتمع، من خلال تقديم برامج توعوية ومحاضرات دينية تحذر من خطورة الوقوع في براثن المخدرات، وقدم عرضاً عن فعاليات المعرض التي استمرت لمدة 7 أيام، وشهدت إقبالاً من شباب وشابات المنطقة، حيث بلغ عدد الزوار أكثر من 5900 زائر، كما شارك في تنفيذ الفعالية 150 متطوعاً ومتطوعة.
وأضاف المهندس العرفج أن الجمعية وقَّعت عدداً من الشراكات مع الجهات ذات العلاقة، من أبرزها تعاونها مع المديرية العامة للسجون بالمنطقة الشرقية، لتنفيذ برامج وفعاليات دينية وتوعوية داخل السجون، بهدف التأهيل الفكري والنفسي للنزلاء، وتمكينهم من العودة إلى المجتمع أفراداً صالحين.
وفي ختام الحفل كرَّم أمير المنطقة الشرقية الجهات المشاركة والداعمين.
The Prince of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, honored the participating entities in the awareness exhibition about the dangers of drugs today (Monday) at the Emirate's Diwan. The exhibition was organized by the Association for Call and Guidance and Community Awareness (Basira), in collaboration with the Erada Mental Health Complex in Dammam, with the participation of 14 government entities.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Basira Association in the Eastern Province prisons, Engineer Hamid Al-Urfaij, delivered a speech in which he explained that the association has made it one of its main programs to contribute with relevant entities in raising awareness among youth and the community by providing awareness programs and religious lectures that warn of the dangers of falling into the clutches of drugs. He presented a report on the activities of the exhibition, which lasted for 7 days and witnessed a turnout from the youth of the region, with the number of visitors exceeding 5,900. Additionally, 150 male and female volunteers participated in executing the event.
Engineer Al-Urfaij added that the association has signed several partnerships with relevant entities, most notably its collaboration with the General Directorate of Prisons in the Eastern Province to implement religious and awareness programs and activities inside the prisons, aimed at the intellectual and psychological rehabilitation of inmates, enabling them to return to society as good individuals.
At the end of the ceremony, the Prince of the Eastern Province honored the participating entities and supporters.
