تتجه الأنظار، غداً (الجمعة)، إلى ألاسكا لمتابعة نتائج القمة الأمريكية- الروسية، خصوصاً ما يتعلق بإنهاء الحرب في أوكرانيا.
لقاء الرئيسين الأمريكي دونالد ترمب والروسي فلاديمير بوتين، سيكون الأول بينهما منذ عودة ترمب إلى منصبه في العشرين من يناير الماضي. وعلى الرغم من عدم وجود وعد بأن يقود اللقاء الأول إلى وضع نهاية للحرب المستعرة منذ نحو ثلاث سنوات، إذ لا تزال المواقف الروسية والأوكرانية متباعدة بشأن المطالب والشروط، فإن الآمال معقودة على أن تضع القمة «خارطة طريق» تؤدي إلى إسكات صوت المدافع، وإطلاق صوت العقل والحكمة عبر المسار التفاوضي.
الآن وبعد طول انتظار امتد نحو سبعة أشهر، ترمب وبوتين وجهاً لوجه، فهل تحدث المفاجأة وينجح الرئيس الأمريكي -الذي وعد مراراً وتكراراً بإنهاء الحرب- في إقناع بوتين بوقف القتال.
يبدو أن مفتاح حل معضلة حرب أوكرانيا سيكون في فكرة تبادل الأراضي، أو التنازل على بعض الأراضي من قبل أوكرانيا، وهو ما ترفضه كييف حتى الآن.
فهل يفاجئ الرئيس الأمريكي نظيره الروسي بخطة محددة لوقف الحرب وتحقيق السلام، أم أن الخطة المعلنة من قبل بوتين ستكون الوحيدة على طاولة البحث والنقاش؟.. هذا ما سوف تجيب عنه نتائج قمة ألاسكا بعد ساعات.

Tomorrow (Friday), all eyes will be on Alaska to follow the results of the U.S.-Russia summit, particularly regarding the end of the war in Ukraine.
The meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin will be their first since Trump returned to office on January 20th. Although there is no promise that this first meeting will lead to an end to the war that has been raging for nearly three years, as Russian and Ukrainian positions remain far apart on demands and conditions, hopes are pinned on the summit to establish a "roadmap" that leads to silencing the guns and unleashing the voice of reason and wisdom through the negotiation process.
